The property, to no fault of their own, was very noisy due to construction directly across the street which meant we could not enjoy the pool. The manager was not around a lot, I had a complaint about people in the pool after midnight, they were smoking and drinking until after 1am but the manager was not around to tell. I would stay there again, but I would google map the area to see where the construction was taking place.

Beautiful structure, clean room and owner and staff were lovely. Close to the beach and grocery store. It was a bit of a walk to town but very pleasant.

Perfectly private oasis 2 blocks from the beach! Gated yard with private pool and a couple dog friends. Cute little apartments. Friendly, bilingual Paola can answer all your questions! Close to everything! Amazing stay! Kitchenette, nice shower and bathroom, comfy bed!

We enjoyed our stay in Bucerias and would recommend this area to anyone trying to escape the chaos of Puerto Vallarta. But I wish we had known about the construction of a new building that is happening in front of Paraiso Bucerias that occurs Monday to Saturday from 7am-6pm. Ear plugs helped a bit but it was definitely not the relaxing poolside vacation we were hoping for. This is also the first hotel we’ve ever been to that had 2 dogs running freely most days as the owners were never around to supervise them……..or pick up all the dog poop. Not impressed. I’m sure this small hotel used to be wonderful but needs some TLC and a caretaker to attend to daily upkeep. On the plus side the hotel is within walking distance to many nice bars & restaurants. Having in room water dispensers was also fantastic. And the outdoor refrigerator & bbqs were also appreciated along with the washrooms. We were also lucky enough to have a resident iguana join us for a swim in the pool!  But for $220 a night we shouldn’t have had to wear water shoes in the pool in fear of cutting our feet due to the pool tiles falling off. We will not return to this location.

Could be Paradise again?

The room was lovely, clean, nice shower, kitchen.  Staff were all amazing, very friendly.  Pool was nice and kept clean.  Close to beach and market.  I had cancelled trip twice due to covid and Paola gave me room at same price (for 2 years).  I know the price has increased since.  Construction now blocks the ocean view and is noisy from 7 am-6pm, but we usually were out and about so it didn't really bother us.  They had Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas for guests to use for free. There were a couple of barbecues for guests and an outside seating for dinner or whatever.  The only bad thing was the dog poo.  Guests are not allowed pets (one of the reasons  I booked there) but owners have 2 dogs that are not picked up after.  It was gross and we rarely stayed by the pool or outside because it was everywhere. For that reason alone, I would not stay there again.

We only stayed for 10 days here but wished we could stay for the winter.  This location is, in my opinion, the best location because it is walking distance to everywhere you want to go in Bucerias.  It is a block from the main street where most of the resturants are, a block from the laundry, two blocks from the beach, a few blocks away from the big supermarket, hospital and the highway to catch the bus, and a few blocks from the main plaza.  It is away from all the noise.  Paola, the owner and hostess is very accomodating and the cleaning lady, Olga, is very pleasant and thorough.  The pool and sunning area is clean and well-cared for.  The grounds are meticulous with a cabanna with tables and chairs and BBQ.  A yard adjoins the cabanna.  The building and apartment are very clean with a full kitchen, air conditioning, TV, Wi Fi that always works.  This is definately a find.

A very nice and quiet place, close to the beach, a warm pool, a clean and spacious room and a magnificent attention from its hostess, definitely highly recommended.

Definitely the best option for staying in Bucerías.A couple of blocks from the beach, and with a pool.The whole building as new, the impeccable rooms, the beautiful decoration.Excellently equipped, you won't need anything.Paola the most attentive and friendly, always with the best recommendations and always ready to help solve anything.I would recommend 100%, we would return without thinking!

Excellent option in Bucharest

Beautiful, clean, very friendly owner and staff with a nice pool. Close to the beach about a short two block walk. Paraiso is in a quiet area of Bucerias, the area is a mostly resident area with little bars and restaurants thru out in a short walking. Have fun exploring. The area is safe with a quite a few expats living there.
  Paraiso's rooms are clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Kitchen is well stocked for lite cooking and making a giant Paella for a dinner party for friends and staff. If something is missing Paola can mostly get it for you. Paola the owner lives on the premise and is super pleasant and friendly, you'll like her. 
  The Paraiso was not our original destination in the Puerto Vallarta area but turned out to be the best place we could've stayed. 
 I know when I return I will not be a guest returning but a friend returning, what more could you ask for.
