Nice enough. Room is a litte dark, but clean and spacious. My toilet ran constantly. Mentioned to staff but wasn't fixed (probably would have been if i asked again). Wasn't a huge problem as i couldnt hear it when the bathroom door was closed. WiFi is available but quite patchy. Restaurant food is so so. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nice enough

The only commercial hotel on the Island.  Majuro and surroundings are not geared up for tourist travellers.  I am here on a work assignment with my wife.  beautiful weather and the people are super friendly.
Very expensive to get here and only 2 fights a week.  the only public beach is a fair distance away.
If you are looking for peace and quiet this is it!

Majuro Getaway

The staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was not cleaned from day three onwards.
AC was loud and on high most of the time.
Food was good, not a lot of vegetables though due to nationwide shortage.
Hotel wifi does not work in the farthest block unless you stand on the balcony.

Stay in the block closest to reception.

A week at MIR

Super friendly staff, with 24/7 service. The rooms are well cleaned on a daily basis. People with disabilities access, restaurant served great meals, hair salon on 1st floor! The downside is that free wifi is only accessible at the lounge or rooms with close proximity to the lounge!

Bestest Location on the Island!

Security blocked us from parking in front of front desk to check in.  

Parking lot does give guests spots near room.

To be honest, I never stayed in this hotel, but due to the absolute outstanding communication and customer orientation, I decided to share my experience here. I had a booking and before my stay, I had frequent contact with the hotel to arrange everything during my visit. The staff could not been any more helpful with this! Now, here come the most epic part: when my flight was cancelled due to Corona virus, the hotel allowed to cancel my stay free of charge, when no free cancellation was possible anymore. To me, this is an outstanding customer focus and orientation and I would book this hotel again in a heartbeat if I ever have the chance to come back!!! Well done!

Cant think of any more friendly staff/hotel

I realize this entire country is poor and this was my first experience in a underdeveloped country. However this is no resort. It is a hotel with a restaurant. The pool is non functional. Our room wasn’t serviced the entire time we were there, however security found time to come around every evening to check and make sure our door was locked.  You can’t drink the water so we had to use bottled water, which was never replaced during our stay because again, our room was never serviced. Tired and decrepit would be the most apt description I can give of this property. I don’t know if the alternative is any better, but you’d better keep your standards low. 

A Super 8 Hotel masquerading as a resort

Employer booked this hotel for our group. Clean rooms but in need of painting. Hot water with decent pressure in the shower. Resurfaced bathtub coating is peeling off. Street noise from passing traffic in room 223. All rooms have a patio that faces the lagoon - nice view. A/C works well but humidity still exists in rooms. Restaurant and bar on premises. Good food in the restaurant - limited menu. TV gets 6-8 channels. Wifi -it's an issue. Had to buy a card at the local NTA office $20 for 10 days unlimited. Reception is poor to moderate. Unable access and drops frequently.
Overall, given where this island is located - not bad.

10 Day Stay for Work

Having traveled widely in the pacific islands region this is quite decent. Hey you are in Marshall Islands and cannot compare this beautiful island with the key tourist destination like Guam or Fiji. So managed your expectations
The staff are friendly and the only restaurant here is adequate. Room is overall clean
The hotel faces the bay with a nice view of the lagoon. 
Will stay again if I am back

Decent hotel 

In the context of where it is (on a tiny atoll in the middle of the Pacific) the MIR is pretty good. It's clean, comfortable, the aircon works and it has cheap cold beers. The rooms themselves are pretty dated, but everything worked. My room was above the bar/restaurant deck, so was quite noisy until the music shut off. Wifi costs extra (mine was about USD$11 for 24 hours) but is quite fast. 
The food in the restaurant was OK, possibly a little expensive for what it was though.
