Hotel Phoenicia Malta is een bijzonder hotel, zeker 5 sterren waard. Je wordt zeer vriendelijk onthaald aan de receptie bij aankomst, zelfs ’s nachts. Alle nodige info wordt gegeven en vanaf dan word je door het hotel verwend. De kamer is ruim en alles is OK. De minibar wordt dagelijks aangevuld, wat een groot pluspunt is! Ook wordt de kamer twee maal per dag gepoetst, het bed wordt klaargemaakt om later te slapen ! Prachtig ! Het ontbijtbuffet is grandioos, een echte brunch : smakelijk, gevarieerd met vlees, vis, kazen, diverse broodjes, fruitsappen, ontbijtgranen, yoghurt ….. Alle medewerkers zijn zeer vriendelijk ! Er is een binnen -en buitenzwembad met ligweide. Het buitenzwembad mocht wel iets meer verwarmd zijn. Er is zeer regelmatig pianomuziek in de mooie lobby Bars en restaurant zijn meer dan OK. Het hotels heeft zeer mooie tuinen. Je waant je in de kasteeltuinen van Versailles ! De ligging van het hotel is zeer goed : naast het hotel is er een busstation in alle richtingen, vlakbij is er de ingangspoort naar de winkelstraten van Valletta ( zeer gezellig ), er zijn taxis en niet ver wandelen zijn er ferries, richting de three islands en Sliema ! Dit hotel is een van de best hotels, die we kennen ! Om nog vaak naar terug te keren !
