From the pick up at the airport to the transfer to our room, the service was fast and easy. Cute little boutique inn nestled in the tight streets of Male with an updated and beachy/ocean themed décor. Room, though small, was clean, bed comfortable, and all the amenities needed for an overnight stay were present. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of room in dining area. Hallways are tight with luggage and only one little elevator but we were never kept waiting long. Easy transfer back to airport to catch our main resort boat. Would highly recommend this place for quick airport layovers!

Wonderful Boutique

Staff was so lovely and helpful! Rooms were nice, clean and spacious enough. Breakfast buffet was very good, best thing was that you never had to wait for refills, the kitchen staff did an excellent job always making sure there were plenty to choose from. I would definitely stay here again!

Helpful and professional staff

We are there for a nigh on our way to the Mahibadhoo island. Somerset Inn is provided free pick us up from airport and drop off which we two girl’s needed since our flight arrival to Male airport at late in the evening. The staffs are friendly and helpful and fully support ours need. Such as late dinner they can order and delivery to ours room even late in the evening. Excellent services Somerset Inn.

We stayed at the hotel for one night which was OK. Our room undortunately did not have a window (resp very small with the view to the wall) and the room was overall very small. Otherwise clean and stuff very helpful, good breakfast.

For 1 night OK

The hotel’s staff is amazing! not only super friendly and helpful, but super efficient! their service is equivalent to 5 star service. You don’t have to explain everything to them in great detail! they get it, especially Mishfaau A! My two stays at the hotel was a bit complicated. he was a super star: coordinating early breakfast, arranging airport transport, early check in and early check out, storing luggage, etc. Everything worked out perfectly! 

Excellent Service 

The rooms are large with good amneties and very comfortable for short term stay. we stayed one night before heading out to outer islands. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this inn.

Plesant stay

The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. Staff are excellent. Breakfast was filling. I stayed one night after a boat tour to bridge me to my flight. They picked us up (I think guests usually  take ferry from airport to a waiting car and then some walking but there were 4 of us so a taxi took us all to the hotel). For my travel to airport they offered a taxi for 10$US. I declined and used the free transportation which was perfect. Basically they walk you to a corner near the hotel and and wait with you for a taxi. The driver takes you to ferry and buys ticket and my driver waited with me for the ferry (only a 3 minute wait in my case)   The ferry is fast and you get good views of the city.  Cars can’t easily navigate the streets due to narrow roads hence the need to walk from hotel to corner and back. 

Please be aware that Male is a series of windy streets with loads of people and bicycles. I got lost going back to the hotel after dinner and panicked a bit. But the staff at the sister property Somerset Hotel were wonderful. The front desk worker drove me to my hotel on his scooter.

Great for a short stay

Spent one night in this hotel located in Male city. Free pick up by hotel with about 15 mins taxi ride. Simple breakfast packed for our departure in early morning. New, clean and quiet room. Worth the money. 

Good one night stay 

Quick one-night stay in Male.  The service at this hotel was top notch, and the accommodations acceptable. This hotel would have been difficult to find without someone to guide to/from, which is perhaps not that unusual for this city.

Quick Stay

Great customer service, however, it was too loud. You can hear every time people opened doors and closed them. There was also very loud talking until 2 in the morning and I had to call reception so they could stop it. Spent a horrible night because of the loud noise. Besides that, it was a good hotel and great service.
