Transfer should be paid separately. The cost can range from USD 200.00 to 600.00. Due to local laws bikini and swimsuits iare prohibited on the island but Maafushi has a designated beach area where all the tourist are allowed to wear them.
The front desk is not open 24/7, if the guests will arrive after 12:00 AM (midnight) the should notify the hotel in advance and receive check-in instructions.
Ferry/speedboat transfers to and from Maafushi Island from Male can be arranged. Transfer cost:
Public ferry (90 minutes):
- Departure from Villingili ferry terminal (Male) at 3:00 PM;
- Departure from Maafushi Island at 07:30 AM.
On Fridays, the ferry service does not operate.
Charter speedboat (35 minutes):
Shared speedboat transfer costs around USD 30.00 – USD 50.00 per person per one way trip, minimum 5 people per trip.
Seats on the speedboat must be booked in advance.
For Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners, guests may be charged separately at the hotel. |
