Amber Beach

I would have rated lower due to an insufferable neighbor who kept slamming doors and making loud noises throughout the night, but the hotel itself did not deserve that rating. I would still definitely recommend Amber Beach simply because the staff are exceptional. I’ve stayed here before, so I knew what to expect: clean rooms, good breakfast, a comfortable bed, decent bathroom amenities, and complimentary shared airport transfers. Unfortunately, this time I had to deal with an unruly neighbor who was rude to both staff and fellow guests. The staff at Amber Beach handled the situation exceptionally well, even offering me a room move (which I politely declined as it was already too late in the evening). A special shoutout to Livingston at Reception — he was so kind and pleasant, allowing me to check in early as soon as a room was available, and even granting me an extra hour for late check-out as I had an afternoon flight. There are many hotels in Hulhumale, but I will definitely keep coming back to Amber Beach. Their amenities, location, food, and above all, their wonderful staff make it worth every penny.
