SHAZ Resort Pulau Tinggi

Pulau Tinggi is a small island off the South-East coast of Malaysia. An old volcano sits in the middle, the view is quite impressive when you arrive by boat for the first time. We stayed at the Resort on a 3-day-long weekend beginning of September 2017. It's not expensive, and definitely worthy! The staff was available & very friendly, the room comfortable, and we enjoyed some of the activities available: snorkeling, kayaking, but didn't find the time for the jungle trekking. diving only available if groups of 10+. Make sure to contact them before hand to arrange for the boat transfer (and possibly a full package with driver transfer from Johor Bahru if you are coming from Singapore). They take credit card, but bring some cash to pay for the Marine Park 'entrance' at the jetty.
