Mirage PD Hotel

A low cost hotel but with very friendly and helpful staff especially Ken and Faqrul. I had to stay there a few days as my mum was hospitalised in Hospital Port Dickson. It is really a simple no-frills hotel where upon checking in they will give you the aircon and TV controls together with your room card. RM50 in cash is required as a deposit which would be refunded upon checking out. The hotel is basically connected to two rows of shop lots where you can find some eateries, a 7-11, KK supermarket.,a laundromat and even a bank, among others. Next to the hotel is a local Chinese restaurant and a 5% discount is given if you show your room keycard. The only thing that I was unhappy about was the wifi. It connects but is very slow hence if you really need to work you will have to come down to the sitting area as the wifi in the lobby is fast. TV programs in the main block has only 4 local channels hence there is nothing much to watch. Highly recommended if you are on a low budget or if you want to go to the hospital as it is across the road.
