Nipah Guesthouse Pangkor

The Nipah Guesthouse Pangkor is perfectly situated right on the beach and offers a nice pool. The owners are super kind, helpful, and communicative. A kitchenette and a refrigerator are available to prepare breakfast. The rooms are clean, the internet is good, and the value for money is unbeatable. We had a great stay!

We stayed for one week in an A-frame cottage and enjoyed every second. The walk in rate is 150 RM during week days and 170 RM on the weekend per night. We got a little discount.
The property is perfect for a longer stay. They have a nice pool and garden area. You can hang out at there in sun loungers. Shaded places are also available.
The cottages are comfortable and have enough space.
The hosts provide jam and butter. You just have to buy toast and can prepare your own breakfast. A fridge is also provided in the common area.
Everything is extremly clean (room, pool, garden etc.)
The hosts are very friendly and gave us tips about the Island. Our preference are a bit off the beaten track (lost places) but they could help us out.
The nipah beach, coral beach and restaurants are in walking distance.

We found this place at the last minute and were very lucky as it is absolutely delightful. It is a small property (eight individual chalets/cottages), located in a quiet road 3 minutes from the beach. Everything is immaculately clean and the gardens that surround are pristine. The overall vibe is one of calmness and tranquility. Alia and her family obviously take immense pride in it and could not be more welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

We had such a good time because the room and bathroom was super clean. Gracious hosts and they gave us detailed info about the area. We loved the stream that they suggested, as well as the dgood eats. Highly recommend this place if you are particular about the place.

We stayed for 1 night and it was the best experience. I love everything about this guesthouse.The room was very clean and nice.The location was great.I will definitely come back here again.Great place to stay in if you are in Pulau Pangkor. 

In our 6 months journey this has been a place to relax and unwind with our 2 kids on a peaceful island. The location is perfect, close to beautiful Coral Beach. We stayed for 9 nights in the guesthouse, which says a lot! We really got into the rythm of the island, the quiet weekdays and the lively weekends. The kids really loved the breakfast ritual (baking your own pancakes and eggs) and of course the nice shallow pool and the cosy bungalow. Great welcoming hosts, they really made something special of this place. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Nipah Guesthouse so much we extended it another day. The property is obviously a labor of love for the hosts, who are thoughtful and friendly. The rooms are meticulously clean as are the modest but relaxing pool and lounge areas. 10 minute walk to Coral Beach, a low key island paradise. Highly recommended!

I'm not sure about other guesthouses around the area (which is quite a lot), but this one obviously have a beautiful and clean pool. Thank God for that because the beach is quite a distance and open to public. There's a lot of seafood restaurant nearby (at the beach) to enjoy.

For those who just want to chill and relax with books, free flow coffee and the sun....and hornbill casually flying around, this is the perfect place for you!

This is the second time I've stayed at Nipah Guesthouse, and this place is one-of-a-kind. I can't imagine going to Pangkor and not staying here- it truly makes the trip. Anwar and Alicia, the young couple who own Nipah, are extremely kind and hospitable. They are obsessive about the cleanliness of the property, and they are expert gardeners (beautiful landscaping). The little cottages are unique and very comfortable.  Breakfast is great, and so is the swimming pool. The location of the guesthouse is perfect as everything is walking distance- the beaches, shops, food stalls, a little grocery store, and good restaurants that serve nice food and alcoholic beverages on the beach.(Daddy's Cafe and Nipah Deli).

We spent 4 very nice days at Nipah Guesthouse during Christmas 2018, and stayed in the A-frames. The whole place is very charming, and the family who runs the Guesthouse is extremely friendly and helpful. 
I loved the beautiful garden with the pool, the hammocks and the quiet atmosphere. There are also hornbills flying around, and a hornbill couple that comes for feeding every day. 
The Breakfast is a make-it-yourself-deal, but the staples are plentyful and there was always something extra for us. I would have loved to have some fruit juice as well, if I should mention one thing that could have been better. 
The guesthouse is close to the beach, but the nicest beach is a little bit further away. However still well within walking distanse. 
We loved staying at Nipah Guesthouse, and warmly recommend it.

Excellent guest house with a great location

Best place to stay

Located a few minutes walk from the main road where all the shops and tour agents are. Very busy on weekends.
The owners are very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have.
The grounds are kept in immaculate condition as well as the swimming pool.
I stayed in one of the chalets.   The bed had clean linens and provided a comfortable sleep in quiet surroundings.
Limited furniture being a 2 tier wooden unit to lay clothes etc and a drying rack. Aircon and TV both worked fine though the TV only had 5 channels including 1 with movies in english.
The bathroom was a small wet room with a rain shower providing good hot water and water pressure.
The porch had a table and 2 chairs so I brought 1 chair inside so that I could work at the wooden table unit.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.
Final note, the daily feeding of hornbills at 6.30pm is in the same street.

Our friend recommended this Guesthouse and we are so happy we stayed.  Not only are the owners friendly, helpful and have a great sense of humor, they have built a wonderful business helping travelers who come to Pangkor.

Anuar's and Alicia were always helpful and checked in many times to make sure we were happy and comfortable.

Breakfast is cooked yourself with 3 different selections to choose from with a little surprise every morning.  The cooking area was always kept clean and tidy.  There was unlimited coffee, tea and water which we really appreciated.

The rooms were spotless.  We had to book a different room 1 one night to be able to stay 3 consecutive nights and on the morning we switched rooms, their staff was right there to help us move over quickly and easily.

The grounds were lovely with lots of greenery and the pool was so refreshing.

We highly recommend the Nipah Guesthouse and would stay there again in a heart beat.
