54 Guesthouse

I loved that this place is the only guesthouse/hotel in Pangkor's traditional, genuine fishing village. It offers great food and the lovely half sleepy, half busy atmosphere everyone is seeking in Southeast Asia. All the other places to stay at seem to be mainly in Pangkor Town which is the touristy part of the island. That said, one should remember that Pangkor is a small island (surrounded by scooter in about 45 mins). 54 Guesthouse is very clean and comfortable, the staff are super friendly and helpfull! They own a fishfarm and are happy to show it to you! Sidenote: No matter what the locals on the ferry try to tell you, do get off the boat from Lumut at the first jetty.
