Melati Tanjung Motel

We recently stayed at Melati's VIP. We initially booked this room as it was one of the cheapest rooms on the island but it ended up being one of the best decisions we ever made!! This place is classed as a dorm and whilst technically it is, the room is separated with partition walls and a curtain  to ensure your privacy. The beds were very comfortable and towel and blankets provided. The bathroom is fab, one of the best we have had in a hostel, it was spacious and provided amenities like an ironing board, hairdryer and shampoos etc which is amazing and a massive bonus as this was a female only dorm. Additionally they have drying racks.....may not seem like a big thing but it is when u are heading to the beach daily and need to dry your clothes Wi-Fi was brilliant so easy to book your onwards trips. Best thing about melati without a doubt were Damien and Elle. They made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Damien was so helpful and was happy to answer any questions, he was also a tiny bit hilarious.... I say tiny so his head doesn't get too big and really made our stay. Elle is fantastic and such a hard worker, I have never stayed anywhere so clean!!! Both Damien and Elle were attentive and easy to talk to.  We loved our stay so much that we kept extending and I'm hoping Will give me job!!! I definitely recommend staying here.
