Senari Bay Resort

We spent 3 nights at this charming place and could have easily stayed for another week. Albeit it’s a bit of a walk to eateries and Cenang beach, the hotel grounds are lovely, peaceful, clean, and even if all rooms were booked, we still had a feeling that almost no one was staying there. The rooms (which are kind of a row of attached bungalows) are very basic, but spacious, have fan and AC, hot water with really good water pressure - if anything, we would have liked a bit more lighting by the bed (unless you turned on the bright ceiling light, it was quite dark). The beds may not be comfortable for all, but seemed ok to us. Definitely bring a bug spray, if you plan to sit outside in the evening. One thing that would probably need to be fixed is the wifi connection- we couldn’t connect at all in our rooms sometimes. The breakfast- delivered in a bag early in the morning to every room- is a tremendous effort by this hotel, and we more than appreciated it! Different selection every morning, you have coffee/tea in the room to go with it. The location of the hotel is great if you are flying in and out of Langkawi, and distance to the Cable car was about 20Rg with Grab (FYI, the hotel does not provide the transport to the airport) Would not hesitate to come back!
