35 reviewsThe place was very cozy and comfortable. We booked a private room with window and bathroom which was spacious and nice. Right when we arrived the owner took his time to give us detailed instructions as well as a whole array of very useful recommendations; even though it was already late in the evening. We followed his recommendations which were all amazing. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owner was noteworthy and I definitely recommend staying here. The city itself was great. At first look not the most beautiful city I have ever seen but so vibrant, fun and friendly. Everyone was welcoming and we especially enjoyed the delicious food in Kuching. If you do stay here, go and get some Kolo Mee breakfast at Eng's Café. The place opens around 4am and runs out quickly so if you are heading out early for a tour, this is the place to go. Also the Sarawak Laksa from Choon Hui (from Anthony Bourdain) was so delicious I am still dreaming about it today. Thank you for our stay and hopefully see you soon!
