A trip handled by MGH, (bought the package at Marang Jetty) and yes it was amazing. Reached the Cotton Island around 20 mins and the island is very clean. Compared to other islands that I’d been reached before esp Feringghi 🤭. Not so crowded so I was free to do anything. Just don’t forget to bring together with you the sunblock as you may get burn instantly 😂. There are some packages available handled together with Coral Beach Resort such as Snorkelling, Hiking, Water Sports. Very friendly staff especially this young man named Yoe, a knowledgeable and full with smile in his jobs.

We went to Kapas Island on the 6th to 8th March. We were total 9 and stayed at Kapas Coral Beach Resort. We took 3 Triple sharing rooms. The resort is located right in front of the beach. The beach was very clean. The room comes with very basic amenities. There are no toiletries, coffee or tea making facilities, mineral water, hair dryer and others. The room has a toilet, beds, balcony and cupboard. You can have a comfortable stay and enjoy the island. The resort has numerous packages and activities which includes hiking, snorkelling, kayaking, banana boat ride and others. The resort has a restaurant which provides all the meals. You can take a package with or without meals. There is also another small shop which sells burger, waffles and maggie noodles. Staffs are quite helpful however they are more fluent with the local language. Overall, we enjoyed our stay over here.

No underwater camera. Thus, no underwater photos. The coral diversity was not high. The numbers of Christmas tree worm also decrease compared to 2 years ago. I saw a string ray. Beware of sea urchins. Kapas island have a lot of sea urchins...

It was a great place to relax and stay. Friendly staffs, a decent buffet for local. It can be a little bit crowded on Saturday, because it is just about 10 minutes from the main land and it will be filled with locals. If you're planning to stay overnight, suggested to take a boat after 1pm, as the check in time is after 2pm, unless if you are lucky enough to check in earlier than that, but the main point is the beach, crystal clear water. Go hiking to Bukit Singa (Lion hill in English), you will be satisfied with the view from the top. Overall it was a great resort with a decent price.   

Is wonderful family trip. Beach is clean and beautiful . can plan stay at resort there. Line coverage also available .
Most probably I'll revisit this beautiful beach. One more things is bathroom need to maintenance, due is only have a small public bathroom

Nice place for a stay

2nd visit 

Is very nice beach and scenery

Booking process, room, food were okay
Hiking trip was awesome
Snorkeling trip was quite boring as they brought us to 1 point only
Checkin process was bit ridiculous as they ask for rm50 for deposit even I've already paid for the whole package
Checkout process also quite dissapointing as I was asked to bring along towel and aircond control to the counter even I've already got into long Q (he said I won't get ba k my rm 50 if din do so)

It was okay except Checkin and check out process

Had a bad experience on our 1st half of our arrival day. Was given a foul smell room (room 037) ground floor. Told the receptionist (malay young lady with a cat eye make up) to change our room, no common sense at all to apologize. We finally got a new room which is on the 1st floor of the green building. 
Food were so-so, fruits were not fresh, vegetables as well. cleanliness of room not that good. There were blood stain on the bed sheet and also urine smell. 
The only good thing about this so called resort are the fire show, the boys are awesome! Please take this constructive critism as a ladder to improve your service and cleanliness of the so called 4 star resort. 
And please watch guests who fed fishes with bread which is not a right thing to do!

Not a good place to stay

This resort maybe just for two nights is ok .start from we arrived need to wait for 2 hours to get the room key. The room is very basic if u have high expectations maybe not the place you want to stay . Was dirty and noisy with all the construction on next to the building and plus i found hair everywhere and cockroaches under the bed🤦🏼‍♂️.location is nice close to the beach 👍🏾.Food very bad and serve in small portions. Better eat at next door restaurant. This resort is made  for local people . If u really want a nice nature stay there are many nice small resort on the island who provide better service.

Just poor maintenance and service 

I thought it's a good location for short vacation. The beach is clean, good for family actvities .
The snorkeling trip was fun and the hiking is awesome.
Food can be improve, but for me is ok.
Room cleanliness & service need further improvement.

Lovely place to visit.

2 things are bad based on my experience. First is the customer service. my wife just have a look on the buffet section and a girl the came to my wife said “you have to pay first”. In the first place my wife just want to have a look the buffet  food that they offered before pay Rm30. To me is an insult. second the room is dirty especially on the pillow.
