Hotel Cheqinn

We booked a room for three pax. Arrived hotel around 6 pm and was informed that the lift malfunctioned and was under repair. Staff arranged a room on the lowest available floor so that my elderlies only need to climb two floors. Went out for dinner. Came back and was going to take the stairs but staff saw us and quickly came to tell us that lift was repaired. Staff also helped to carry luggage up to the room. We left one luggage with the evening reception and the morning reception brought out our luggage when we checked out without us requesting. Room is spacious and clean. Didn't smell any cigarettes. Bathroom is also spacious. But toilet bowl will get wet after showering. Good water pressure. Pillow is real flat and soft. I had to fold it for height. There is a mini fridge in the room. Nothing much on TV. Only a few hangers but we're staying only one night so no problem. Our room has a window facing the main road. Some vehicles were really noisy. Location - Walking distance to Ming Court Dim Sum. No steps along the way if you use the main road. Not much vehicles in early hours. Near but didn't dare to take on the traffic to cross over to desserts street. Booked Grab and only paid RM6 to Ipoh railway station.
