great experience

The resort looks neat and beautiful where is surrounded by vegetation. When the first time we drive to this resort, we were scared of where is quite an outskirt location. But not too bad is not that deep into drive-in is just about 5 min from that small little town. In fact, is a really convenient location which near to those shops from the little town They take the SOP seriously where they did maintain the social distancing, scan our My Sejahtera apps, and provide us the hand sanitizer. We were greeted by the guard who are very friendly and dedicated.  The room in GRV was the great one, very huge like a suite room with wide space, beautiful view and the shower heater was working perfectly with high pressure. The receptionist by the name of Fazila (who work in this property for 3 years plus) who handle our check-in and check-out process was efficient with a courtesy maner and helpful. We will never forget of Fazila's hospitality that she demonstrated. Keep up the good work Fazila and her team.

Family short vacation in GRV.

The room quite big for a small family like us, all clean and tidy but there was an ants did some project on the balcony then come inside along the sofa. The process of check in and check out was so smooth and the receptionist was so friendly. Breakfast not so bad too, a set of western breakfast (sausage/ toast/ fries/ corn/ coleslaw) with hot coffee. If still not full, there is a lot of shop nearby but just make sure use a transportation. Overall, my family and I happy with the stay.

Nice short stay

You MUST HAVE A CAR to stay at GVR. Of course, GRAB is an alternative. Reception was situated at KEMPAS apartments. Without that information (no signages) we drove round twice.  Once we are familiar the location is acceptable.

The room has two queen sized beds for four of us. There is a ceiling fan that we have to be careful as it was spinning quite low. Hot water shower was underpowered but sufficient.

Breakfast was ok but can be better with provision for second helpings.

Good price for a 'resort' accommodation that is quiet.

The resort is nice, tidy, clean and the hospitality is excellent. Close to the small town of Genting Highland which makes it easy to get necessities and entertainment. The peaceful and comfortable conditions and the stunning surrounding scenery. Very suitable for couples or families and close to Kuala Lumpur as well as various transportation facilities to get here.

Clean, friendly and affordable

Most units have views of the Genting Highlands peak. The other units from mid to high floors face greenery and other hills and mountains. There are good and bad units. Read reviews before renting apartment units there. Some units have a mouldy and musty smell lingering in the air due to slow water evaporation at that altitude. Some owners have taken pains to upgrade and maintain their units though. Most older apartments do not have a swimming pool. Outdoor pools are too cold to swim at anyway. Riverview Apartments have a neglected river and lack of ground maintenance. It was once sought after for teambuilding. Hopefully it will be restored soon. Kempas Apartment has ample parking space, a nice little garden one can stroll around at, have barbecues (a few spots are available) or read, and residents' own vegetable-bed project using old bath tubs. There is a self-service laundry. Genting View Resort is nearby grocery shops, a petrol station, minimarts, Starbucks and another coffee house, a few 24-hour eateries and a stretch of tourist-type Chinese restaurants. Everything in Genting Highlands is easily accessible from here, provided you have a car. Otherwise use your Grab app to call for pickups. Genting Highlands is about 5km away in a straight line. Of course, access is through winding roads up the mountain.

Charming not-so-new development surrounded by greenery

View  from our room was nice.Howeverr with global warming it is not that  cold at night.Food was basic.We did not move around much by foot and half of our busload went wown with a mysterious illness which took weeks to completely cure.Victime suffered fever which went up and down and severe cough.

BAD LOCATION IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT

I'm a fan of shabby-chic but the room we were given was absolutely disgusting. Everything is filthy - from the carpets to the walls to the couches. Mouse poo on the window ledges. Cigarettes and ash behind things and in wardrobes. When I flipped over my pillow and found a fresh blood stain I knew I had to leave. No staff were available. Reception said they would send someone but no one turned up. I've never had a more disgusting experience. This "resort" is shameful and we had to make a booking at a hostel to get somewhere clean.

So bad we left and refused to pay

Surrounding resort area has got pretty nice activities for any company team building outing. But if you are being checked into any other apartments than the main blocks, they are rather kind of old and not well maintain at all. The 3 bedrooms that we put up is pretty run down with not so clean tower, toilet not in tip-top functioning, and overall it felt rather damp or stuffy in the room. 
Not at all well recommended.

2D/1N Team Building

It's 3 bedroom apartment unit. good for family & a group of friends. food is nice and a lot of choice, it just the master bedroom water heater not that hot.

the rest are good, no aircond needed because is very cold.
