George Town

Big room with minimum sofa seating. Hard bed and pillow. Bathroom dimly lit difficult for shaving. Minimum TV channel. No water dispenser outside. Seaview rooms ver noisy due to facing road with speed breaker stripes.

The front desk person could not communicate One room key so you couldnt leave air con on to cool the wee hot box when you went outThe toilet nearly fell over when you sat on itHad to ask for wifi password The listing said there was a safe but there wasntThe noise from the road was very loudWhen calling reception from room or mobile there was no answer

Very good hotel with nice bathroom and bedroom Unfortunately the foot ferry from butterworth drops you about a 10 min walk up the road.Be careful of trafficYou have to pay for tourist tax so I would advise you to get a receipt for this as I was nearly charged twice

Georgetown visit

Hotel was across the street from a buss turminal.  There was a Free "CAT" buss that circled the George Town area that we used daily.  The hotel was located on the mian foad that circled the Panang Island making it easy to go and see everything we wanted.Hotel staff was friendly,wonderful and spoke English with us.  They were accomidating when asked for extra towels, ice, etc.  Plenty of hot water for showers and room was air conditioned. Very confortable and the price was good--we needed two rooms for the 3 adults.

My 2nd stay at this hotel.  Nice and uniquely decorated. Ample and easily accessible parking area just beside the hotel.   
Biggest downside for me: 
1. No free late check-out.  Exactly by 12 noon, else you pay for every hour late.  It is quite normal for hotels to give until 1pm or even up to 2 pm for free late check-out.  A big letdown for me.  It is not cheap though per night at RM 150.00.  With no breakfast.
2. No housekeeping staff at hand.  The rubbish in the room and near the lift on G floor was not collected or cleared until the next day noon. (I have photos to show)
Verdict:  I will think twice or thrice before coming back to this hotel.

Non smoking hotel, but smokers still smoke inside rooms.Staff were helpful  to relocate.

Staff friendly, Room nice and location is good because easy to access the place that want to visit and find the food to eat. The things that need to make improvement is hotel management need to make sure the facilities in the room is functioning.

Very Satisfied

The hotel is located in very strategic area in Georgetown, easy to walk to many famous tourist spots. The hotel was nice and clean but we facing terrible door problem. We almost miss our bus while waiting for them to open our room, and finally its can be opened after 1 hour. hufft. Some lights in the room wasn't working either and according to their reception staff, his friend gave us out of order room upon check in. We really upset to hear that and he only said sorry. also the lady in the breakfast not really friendly and she always watching you everytime you go to the buffet to take food. really unpleasant.

Perfect location but so many issues

I’ve checked in here for a night. The hotel is situated in front of the ferry terminal/ bus station. I got the sea view from my room and I can spot penang landmarks (Komtar and penang bridge) in my room num 506. 

If you are adventurous, you can get to attractions in penang by just walking distance.

Friendly staffs and very helpful when we asked how and where to go around in penang.  

A complimentary breakfast buffet also provided.

All in all it was a nice experience staying here.
