Triple Dream Budget Hotel

We got surprised for the free services we had.
The cleaness is noticeable with comfertable room equipped with air conditioner. Also the breakfast is good with the existence of cow milk. Also free beverages and water.
Another interesting thing is their taxi service at anytime for inconsiderable price.
Also the crew is helpful and they were like a guide for us.
I can summarize my stay with the feeling that it's a luxury hotel with the price of budget hotel.

Pros - really cheap at 57 ringgitt you get aircon and double bed, two free water bottles a day and free breakfast which is toast and fruit and coffee and biscuits (all you can eat)! The staff are exceptionally helpful when planning on your trips and say how much you should pay max. 

Negatives: far out from city centre although it is near a bus stop (1.4 ringgit one way). Very cheap say you are going to penang hospital. The bathroom is shared. There are two. One is so small you have go sit on the loo to have a shower! Also no window in room so you end up sleeping till about 3pm!

So overall apart from the small shower, this is one of the cheapest and best value for money hotel on the island. Very clean. Highly recommended

Overall really good stay made by the helpfulness of the staff working there who took us to the night food, night markets and dropped us off at the bus stop on departure. Very helpful in giving us information on where to go.
Slightly out of the way but very good bus service in Penang and the bus stop is very nearby. 
Rooms had good air conditioning but no windows in our room but actually had two really good sleeps there. Washed all our clothes for very cheap price.
Would have been nice to of had our towels changed at some point in the stay. Shower is next to the toilet

Triple Dream is a fine, basic hotel. Clean, safe and with VERY friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are small, no windows and share toilet/showers are likewise small but clean and fine.
Location is about a 7-10min bus ride from historic centre of Georgetown.
If base price was $10 (38RM) a room then this would certainly be an excellent budget choice, but for $15 (55RM) you can actually find similar guesthouses right in the heart of Georgetown, which would not necessitate catching buses to and fro. The manager was exceptionally lovely and offered a lift into town once, but that is not the point I guess. We came in late into Penang and literally 'ran into' this hotel, but if you're visiting Georgetown know that you can stay in the centre for the same price. But for a 1 or 2 night stay it's fine enough.

Fine budget choice but out of town centre

Unique & relaxing experience

We arrived by bus and the taxi had difficulties finding the hotel. Eventually, we checked in quite late. We played musical rooms, being given the key to three different rooms; which was quite fun. But none matches the description advertised online and smelt badly of damp. Eventually we were given a room on the top floor, but the smell of smoke was intoxicating. Regardless the room was a good size and the air conditioning filtered the smell. The shower was powerful and hot. 
The hotel is approximately 25 minute walk into town, or a bus ride.  The area doesn't have much to offer, except small shops and launderettes. But is fairly quiet in the nighttime.
Breakfast was very enjoyable. Bread, biscuits, cereal and selection of spreads such as peanut butter, chocolate and jam. As well as tea and coffee making facilities. 
The owner wasn't there during our stay, but on the day we were leaving, he arrived and introduced himself, which was nice. He also arranged for his colleague to drop us at the bus station for free, which was a massive help!
