River Jazz Guest House Melaka

Location is great as the hostel located by the Melaka River (the same row of Casa Del Rio Hotel). Easy access to Jonker Street/ Dataran Pahlawan either by walking or cycling. Nearby famous eateries. The first day we reached here, we explored Melaka famous eateries by foot. Asam Pedas Hajjah Mona, Pak Putera and Jonker88 are within walking distance. But, if you feel that walking around Melaka are too extreme for you, you can rent a OFO Bicycles for cheap rate. Easy to locate, and after you use the bike, you can simply park your bike at the hostel safely. Accommodation is good. This is the first time I stay at hostel or guesthouse. Overall, I can say that I had a great experiences here. I choose to stay in private room, but the toilet and shower you need to share with others guests. My room is clean, air-conditioning and towel was provided. The showers and toilets are separated. No shower gel or shampoo are provided. They are clean and well maintained. I checked the dormitory also clean but no air-condition inside the dorm. They use small fan in the dorm. Microwave and Coway Water Dispenser are provided. Although the stove and washing machine are available at the hostel, but the guest are not allowed to use it. The staffs are attentive and helpful. 2 male staffs are good and willing to help you whenever needed. The manager, kak Sha also very helpful and suggested to us the best eateries in Melaka. She also cycled with us and brought us to Bear Cafe and Marina Beach. Excellent hospitality by the staffs. Kudos guys. Overall, this is the best hostel I ever stayed as this is my first time stay at hostel or guest house typed accommodation.
