Nice, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel with lovely swimming pool and good selection of breakfast items for the breakfast buffet.  Reasonably close to the town centre, walkable, right by the riverside.  

It was my 4th stay at this hotel and I have to say I really like it. Spacious, clean and nice view. Stayed at other nearby hotels before but still Swiss Garden is my choice.
You can even enjoy many local food from surrounding areas.

Was up for a short solo trip to Malacca and was looking for a nice hotel that's comfortable, safe, centrally located and reasonably priced. Chanced upon Swiss Garden Hotel on booking.com and booked it. Upon arrival, parking was easy and safe, checked in with no hassle and the room was pleasant, functional & nice with a balcony. Everything was free & easy, access to Jonker Walk is within the distance of approximately 1km and Pahlawan shopping complex was a little further at around 2km. Overall experience staying at Swiss Garden Hotel was pleasant and should i plan a return back to Malacca, my inclination is that i'm very likely to be staying here again. Nice and clean hotel. Our children love the pool and the water playground. Great location as well. Parking is abundant, and security is assuring. 
Couldn’t comment much on the food as we ate outside, but would love to try it out in our future trips. Wouldn’t hesitate to choose this hotel again.

Firstly the Location and Facilities are great value,i would recommended this hotel for leisure and business.room are big and comfortable.The staff was polite and very helpful.the breakfast follow the SOP KKM make us feel safe to enjoy the breakfast.

the only thing concern me is ,on second day  i put my room on "DND" sign ,but the housekeeper still entering my on top of that they took my spare key card ,i reported to FO but they just said i can collect new key card from them,what was concerning is someone had my room key card and they can come back and entering my as they like and i feel not safe to leave my belonging in the room unattended.I don't really understand why do they took my spare key card.I hope higher Management to look into this matter seriously as it involving safety & security of your hotel.Thank You.

We had a great time in swiss garden hotel. The kids love the pool so much. Room was ok.. I request double twin n add 1 more bed so suitable for us. Hihi. The service is good. Staff so friendly. I think stay here is very value for money. Easy access to town n tempat makan. Will repeat to come here again in future!

I’ve been staying at the hotel for 3 consecutive weekends and the services were not dissappointing.

The FO named Rohayu went extra mile by offering me a wifi extender as I have an online meeting to attend. Not that they do not have wifi, but I needed stronger wifi for a 4 hours meeting. Really appreciate it.

Probably bcs of the CMCO, the rate went down a bit, but it has never compromised their services. 

Had breakfast and tried the hi-tea as well, it was good. 

Most of the time, i would end up extending my stay bcs I was happy there. Starbucks is just down the elevator too!

In Melaka, there are too many hotels, if you look in the website, everything is just beautiful, big and clean, but when you check in, you only know, the room is not as beauty as You aspect. Normaly room will be small and the carpet smells. Swiss Garden Melaka is indeed the best and proven in all things. As a head of the family you can relax in peace or go to the Gym because your wife can go shopping and the children can take a bath in the children's play pool as well as the teenagers swimming easily. Easy and secure hotel access and free parking. All family programs can be planned here. Most importantly the hotel perfectly practices SOP covid 19. Another thing about food is not to worry and can dine at the hotel or look at surounding that requires only walking distance to choose your favourite food. Your "Great Vacation Begins Here"

This Hotel is situated in a great location with outstanding views. Friendly and experienced staff. Excellent Buffet available for lunch. good car parking facility.
Dinning room has a very good choice for dinner and the view of Melaka at night is brillant.. well worth visiting.

Good location with quite numbers of amenities can be found within that area. Few eateries can be found at the hotel that link with shopping centre too! Breakfast Buffet spread was superb awesome! Lots of varieties to choose!The downside of this hotel were the rooms, they can be very dusty, shower drainage were clogging. Hot water in the shower was not working that well(but still bearable). Their staffs are very approachable, pleasant, helpful, informative and very considerate especially Front Office Manager, Mr Arshad! A big Thank you to him for his much help! Appreciate a lot!

Minus the broken glass door handle, and one non-functioning light, the room is acceptable. Breakfast is quite nice, not much choices, but if you truly love malaysian nasi lemak, roti canai and kuah dhal, you will not complaint much. 

This hotel is conveniently located by the melaka river side. My aim is to experience the river cruise so this hotel location is strategic.

Felt so welcome, from valet parking to checking in. Good customer service. Well done to Shidah & Afwizal for making our stay a memorable one to celebrate my dad's & daughter's birthday ;)

Our family suite was spacious and clean. But the aircon is a bit too cold. Wonderful view from the room (facing the Pines). However, please note that railings outside the rooms are not firmly secured (flimsy). Safety hazard especially if you have small kids. Internet connectivity inside the room is a bit disappointing. Overall, will definitely come back. 

Pls note that not many shops are opened at The Shore Shopping Gallery. But there's Starbucks, KFC. 24 hours Nasi Kandar shop available within walking distance.

Lovely stay that doesn't break the bank

Making my way overland crossing to Singapore from KL Malaysia . Stayed here for a night. 
Not so new hotel but okay overlooking the river and joining with a shopping mall. Not much to do here in quiet place.
Quality is ok

The value for the price was good as the room was relatively spacious with nice outdoor pool and a gym.
The staff is friendly and location is good as the old city center is within walking distance. 
The walls are thin and you can hear everything and that is basically the only con for the hotel.

Worth staying

It was a nice, smooth stay. Good location but the hotel lacks attention to details: no soap holder so soap keeps falling into sink; no stopper in sink so any falling object will be lost; no mirror in the room; inside door lock didn't work; pillow was too soft.

Very nice room with 5 star facilities. Very clean and comfortable. The reception Latipah was very friendly and give a good service upon check in. Very fast respond from the maintainance guy to solve my television channel problem. Overall I enjoy my stay at Swiss Garden Melaka

My Favourite Hotel So Far

Huge Hotel with over 40 floors and part of a shopping mall complex. Too big for us.
Probably the best scenic views you will get in Malacca.
Getting to the Restaurants and facilities is rathe long winded, requires 2 elevator trips to access some of them.
Rooms nice, views spectacular, but if you like to have a coffee or a drink on your balcony in the morning before breakfast or early evening when it is cooler, you will be out of luck. There are no plastic tables or chairs provided. We requested some seating and was supplied with two baby plastic stools. (Come on management, you can do better). The roof top sky bar, which is the focal point, is closed. Only viewing, no F & B. Also, outside pool areas no F & B.
Overall, this Hotel did not tick all the boxes for us, particularly with the high room rates. Definitely room for improvement.

High end Hotel with views.

3 bedroom Family Suite was comfortable but  amenities could be improved. Phone not working, wardrobe door stuck, curtains not closing properly, only provided a bath towel per person. Only the Front desk and housekeeping staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was  ok but staff could be more pleasant. Since the only phone in the suite was not working, had to ask the room boy to call the bell boy to help with our luggage on check out. After waiting for more than half an hour, the room boy was very kind to offer helping us get our luggage down.
