Jawa Street Townstay

booked a 3 bedroom a well refurbished heritage townhouse. It actually consists of 4 adjacent townhouses (one with 3 bedrooms while the rest are with 5 bedrooms) with a huge gated parking lot which can easily park around 15 cars. The entire place is very clean, hence it was extremely pleasant for me as I have 2 young boys who would just crawl, roll, run everywhere 😀. The place is about 1 min walk to the river. It is a nice 10 min stroll along the river towards Stadthuys/Jonker Street. This place operates like a homestay - i.e. no breakfast/meals and also no cleaning/changing towels service when we were there for 2 nights. Would be good if the ones running the place would be a bit more attentive though. Nevertheless, would highly recommend if you don't mind a no frills place to stay for family/friends gathering due to the location, cleanliness, private carpark (very difficult to find parking in Melaka town- so we just walked everywhere..) and probably also minimal contact with the service provider 😀.
