The Hermitage Lodge

I stayed at the Hermitage Lodge for 4 nights on behalf of the NGO I work for. The rooms had en-suite bathrooms, daily cleaning service, and comfortable. A laundry service was also helpful as I had been traveling 2 weeks by the time I arrived in Lilongwe. Each morning we were treated to a filling breakfast of eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, cereal, and fruit. This came with our accommodation price, which was extremely reasonable. Dinner was provided in the evenings at a small extra charge if we were planning to be in for the night. Brother Dostie was an entertaining and welcoming host, personable, and always ready to offer the cold beer before dinner. Tea and coffee was available in the dining room throughout the day, fresh water for our water bottles was provided, and a flow of interesting guests staying made the visit that much more rewarding. The wifi was also readily available both in my room and in the dining area, depending on where I wanted to get some work done in the evenings. If you need a relaxing and comfortable place to stay in Lilongwe, you can't go wrong with the Hermitage House. Highly recommended!
