The hotel and the Beach Club that did bar restaurant weekdays and nightclub the WE(attention ears for the rooms above) was a good address with a private beach and a few trades...it became a disaster...The Beach Club and the hotel are separated at the management level...Little reception for the hotel in the DRC held by a totally incompetent person!!! who doesn't know the price of the rooms..and even if you have booked by mail with confirmation of theirs..unable to book your reservation...the interest was also to have a back room in the room I am small...Cata when I got electricity in the master bedroom..I am on no WIFI connection...the RECEPTION BARACTAIN THE PROBLE TIME IN THE REALTHINGS..and the only way to find out was to have a room in the back of the house..I'm on no WIFI connection..I'm on no WIFI house..the RECEPTION BARACTAIN THE PRESENT RECEPTION OF THE REAL REALTHINGS..IONES..IONES and

As much as this hotel restaurant was fine a few years ago now we have to avoid it

Good human-sized hotel with a private beach staff is very helpful kind and always with a smile the rooms were made every day the gardeners were present all day to maintain the park we made four excursions with the hotel and do not take the one with the catamaran and Playa Blanca I recommend this hotel

Early in the morning, during breakfast, young Malagasy people walk up the beach and offer you fruits, nice paroeos or other clothes; cleaning the beach with a beef is quite atypical.

Despite local critics who see only the negative side of the surroundings (men - not young people - in search of cheap love and vice versa), Espadon is a place where you feel good: accommodation, kindness of staff, ideal location on the beach, cocktails to enjoy (in the form but also in the case of abuse - Dzama rum is excellent) and reasonable prices.

The Idyllic Place

The Espadon, which we have known for many years, is now only a shadow of itself. It is actually a huge box and nightclub with a few rooms that look directly over that space. The Espadon is now on the verge of what has become Ambatoloaka: a great lupanar. We left after two nights during which we had to endure the madness of the crowd of partygoers who were excited down in our room by picking up songs from the creek in which they explained that they had come to Nosy Bey to play, kiss and bathe. Poor people...

This isn't a hotel.

Whilst living on Nosy Komba for one month, it was nice to go to Ambatolouka and stay at this hotel for a change. Great service, the staff were very nice to me. Although on New Year's Eve, our room got flooded with toilet water, it was disgusting, and it smelled terribly. My friends and I went to the reception to request for room service to clean the room out, but the staff were already gone. So, I requested another room for us, and they gave us 2 rooms for free since we were four people. 

However, it was a nice experience overall. Great live music at the bar for New Year. The shower was a little different, it was literally in the room, no door, not even curtains. I didn't have a problem with that, it was a great experience for me and my friends.

Amazing

A beautiful hotel structure, a well-kept and clean restaurant to taste great dishes, the aperitif and evening, deserving of a cocktail and champagne tasting at the Beach Bar, accompanied every night by different bands, thanks to all its staff, an excellent experience to repeat as soon as possible.

Great welcome and magical setting on the sea

After dinner you can have a drink in this lovely hotel with the beautiful wooden structure, facing the beach, carefully managed by Alberto and his wife.

That's all the good stuff which was completely overshadowed by aging French gentlemen who elicited favours from young Malagasy girls who in confusion could accidentally knock on your door by mistake. 
The overt attitude of the owner presumably a French National himself contributed to an unpleasant atmosphere.
Whilst having breakfast the last thing you want to see is the worlds oldest profession being carried out in front of you.
