Se non fosse per la mancanza di Leonardo Di Caprio sulla spiaggia, potrebbe sembrare di essere sul set di The beach, quel film girato in un angolo del mondo aperto a poche persone, isolato dal resto del mondo, dove tutto è natura. Valérie e Loic sono i custodi di questo paradiso, si prendono cura della loro casa curando ogni piccolo dettaglio e facendoti sentire semplicemente bene (che non è poco). Troverete i bagni a secco e vi laverete con l'acqua calda riscaldata sotto il sole, e riscoprirte la bellezza della semplicità. Per noi è stata la prima esperienza di questo genere, e devo ammetterlo, è stata una delle migliori qui a nosy be. Mangerete in base alla stagione e in base alla giornata, pesce fresco pescato da Loic riesce in giornata, a pochi centinaia di metri dalla riva, o magari un cinghiale del posto! E potrete raggiungere Nosy Iranja in 10 minuti in barca, senza doverla vedere “trafficata”, ma arrivando all’ora del tramonto quando tutti gli altri turisti si staranno allontanando. Potrete svegliarvi la mattina e nuotare per kilometri e kilometri lungo tutta la costa e scoprire una piccola piscina naturale a pochi minuti dal Lodge. 

Were it not for the lack of Leonardo Di Caprio on the beach, it could seem to be on the set of The beach, that film shot in a corner of the world open to a few people, isolated from the rest of the world, where everything is nature. Valérie and Loic are the keepers of this paradise, they take care of their home taking care of every little detail and simply making you feel good (which is no small feat). You will find dry baths and wash yourself with hot water heated under the sun, and rediscover the beauty of simplicity. For us it was the first experience of this kind, and I must admit, it was one of the best here in nosy be. You will eat according to the season and according to the day, fresh fish caught by Loic succeeds in the day, a few hundred meters from the shore, or maybe a local wild boar! And you can reach Nosy Iranja in 10 minutes by boat, without having to see it "busy", but arriving at sunset when all the other tourists are leaving. You can wake up in the morning and swim for miles along the coast and discover a small natural pool just minutes from the Lodge.

We ended our  vacation in Madagascar with an 11 day stay at "Naturalia Lodge", a remote resort accessible only by boat. It turned out to be the perfect way to finish a wonderful vacation. The resort is set up on 14 kilometers of white sandy beach off of which there are 9 bungalows.The owners Loic and Valerie were very gracious.   and attended to our every need.  Loic is a professional fishing guide and he took me fishing  on 3 occasions.I t was exciting catching fish native only to Madagascar! The food was very good with fresh fish being part of our menu every day. We had a very peaceful and relaxing vacation.Elena and I would highly recommend "Naturalia Lodge".

GARDEN OF PARADISE

Naturalia Lodge is such a special place. Valerie, Loic and Jessica made us so welcome and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable, including our two young chidlren. By the end of our four days we felt like we had been staying with family.

On its own between the forest and the beach, the location of the lodge is so unique. There is no one else for miles around. You almost always have the beach to yourselves. The lodge can provide equipment for snorkeling if you need it.

The bungalows are beautifully made and designed to use as little water and power as possible. Solar showers and dry toilets may not be to everyone's liking but we had no problem at all with them. Each bungalow has its own little terrace and feels very private.

The food at the lodge was outstanding! We all ate (and drank) so well during our stay. It was nice to eat altogether with the other guests and get to know them. It was my husband's birthday on our first day and Loic and Valerie organized a wonderful cake and champagne for him. It is these kinds of touches that make a stay here so special. 

And to add to the experience, we were able to go into the nearby forest and feed some lemurs. This was only beaten by the opportunity to watch 200 baby turtles hatching in Nosy Iranja. Loic took us all across in his boat - an unforgettable day!

Hidden gem in secluded paradise

A place that is worth any trip to Madagascar! I spend 3 fantastic days at Natura Lodge with my brother and my parents last summer. Thanks to Loïc and Valerie, I had the chance to fish a thazard and to witness the birth of baby turtles!! And when I just wanted to chill out and rest, there was a beautiful beach in front of me with nobody else around to walk on, a comfortable bungalow to take a nap and some delicious cocktails waiting for me in front of the sunset. To sum things up, this place is really what we called « a corner of paradise ».

Stayed at Natura Lodge for 3 days in November. The setting is wonderful, on a long stretch of deserted white sand beach, not a village in sight for 2 hours by foot. It's 10 minutes by boat to Nosy Iranja, one the most beautiful islands in the world. The bungalows are top quality, new, spacious, with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and verandas. The restaurant area is beautiful too and the food is delicious. Fresh seafood everyday, tasty salads, creative deserts and tropical fruit. Clothes? Shoes? Stress? What is that? I really cannot make a single complaint about the place! If you want to take it easy and unwind this is the place for you.
