Amazing hotel and can’t wait to return. Travelled with a friend on motorcycles and although the garage was full, (of other residents motorcycles! ), the hotel were keen to try and help. In the end we left them on the street as the village appeared safe enough! Room was great with nice shower but the restaurant and food is amazing, best rib eye I ever had! Great stay and fabulous host.

Superb hotel and restaurant.

We've been visiting these small hostels for many years and are thrilled every time. The rooms aren't particularly large but are attractive and furnished modern with a lot of charm. It doesn't bother me that there's no fridge or kettle, because Vianden has a very high restaurant density. The breakfast is good and is served in the rustic restaurant. The steaks from the grill to the dinner were excellent. I think the price ratio is absolutely top, which is why we always like to come back. See you soon 🤗

Happy and content all around

The host/manager here is exceptional, friendly and a great sense of humour. We arrived mid afternoon on an extremely hot day at the end of a 2 week road trip round France
Our room was small and very hot (hence not 5 stars) but well equipped and a comfortable bed
We also ate at the restaurant sitting outside by the cobbles, big portions and a good choice of dishes 
Breakfast was excellent and interesting talking to the manager (sorry we didn’t get your name), we were in the blue mini!

Friendly Auberge in lovely Vianden

The rooms are cozy, spacious, well equipped and with a very good bedding (they could be soundproofed a little better...).

Very good stay.

The hostel is very nice, the room is very nice. The bed is very comfortable. Only the little bemool, with the floor heating, it was a little bit warm. We ate in the room, a meal that was more than generous and really very good. The breakfast was also very generous. And the staff was very nice.

tree stars , and a. warm welcome , and permanent attention of the multi-lingual host , for instance , not to warm , not to cold , what can I do for you ? , a very big nice modern shower room  will give you relief before dinner

We picked up this hotel on the basis of its good rating and positive reviews during our (group of 4 friends) weekend hiking trip to Vianden.

Actually, in the beginning of March we expected to be the only guests with potentially suboptimal quality of service.

We experienced exactly the opposite. Nice and fully engaged staff, comfortable rooms with spacious bathrooms, good sleeping quality and delicious breakfast.

It happens very rarely that the traditional spirit of a historical auberge is maintained at no cost to the comfort of the guests.

Very comfortable stay in a historical property

It is a nice, charming place, well located and with a very good restaurant. The double room we stayed in was very small though. The only window was just behind my head, which, in winter not very convinient to air it. 

Nice but very small rooms

Lovely hotel well situated near centre. Only downside no air conditioning and had to have window open and a bit noisy during the night. Food okay. Good for one night stay if you are on a touring holiday.
