This little hidden gem tucked into the heart of Vianden was excellent. We were welcomed with open arms by our very gracious host. I cannot say enough about how excellent everything was from the hot chocolate, great breakfast and impeccable hospitality. Thank you so much Arora!

Great Hospitality

Cafe Hotel de Ville de Bruxelles was one of the highlights of my trips. The hospitality was excellent. The owner was welcoming, kind, and friendly. The food was also great. It was one of my favorite places to stay in Europe. 

If you’re looking for an evening of hospitality and great food this is the place for you. 

This hotel was amazing. The hostess was one of the most hospitable people I’ve ever met. The hot chocolate I had at the cafe was some of the best that I’ve ever had and the breakfast that I had the pleasure of waking up to was delicious. It is a great place to stay in Vianden.

This hotel was amazing!!

We had such a great stay. We were warmly welcomed the second we got there! We enjoyed hot chocolate, nice accommodations and a lovely breakfast the next morning with the best croissant I have ever had. Thanks Arora! 

Lovely stay!

At first when we looked at the price we thought that the hotel would be very shabby and run down, but that couldn't be any further from what it really was. We were met by happy and nice locals who helped us get in contact with the host of the hotel so we could get into the hotel. We got greeted by smiles from the host and we had equally big smiles when we came into the room and it was actually nice. When it came to the price we didn't have a lot of expectations, but even the shared bathrooms were clean. Something felt wrong how ever in the morning since we were also served breakfast when the price of a 2 night stay for two people was the same as nearly 1 night at other places. The breakfast didn't have a big assortment but at the price I didn't think there would be breakfast, but there was breakfast somehow. Location around the town was amazing and over all I would rate this as a hidden gem. Strongly recommended to stay at.

Hidden gem in the beautiful town of Vianden

I've travelled a lot and stayed in all sorts of different places from hostels to luxury resorts and I loved this place! The building itself has a lot of character and I love the slightly quirky nature of it, it had an authentic feel. The room and shower room was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly. The hotel is also in a great location close to the town centre and just down the hill from the Castle. 

The was nothing I didn't like about staying here. If I was being really picky I'd say the bed was a little hard for my personal preference but I still slept well. Also on the website I used to book the room it didn't seem clear to me that the bathrooms are shared and separate from the rooms, although this wasn't a problem at all for me or those I was traveling with, I can understand that it could put some off.

I would definitely choose to stay here if I'm ever in Vianden again!

Great little hotel, loved it!

Hotel now has new owners. Building is currently in process of being improved. Will be really nice once completed. At present you get a clean basic room with some furniture and the balcony a bit tatty, a few cosmetic imperfections. But for the price charged it's perfectly fine and the friendly staff, free continental breakfast and a good restaurant give it 4 stars. Location bumps that up to 5. If you want to be in Vianden this is nicely located. Lovely pretty little Riverside town (more like a village by UK classification) with a spectacular castle. 

Good value

We stopped for a couple on night. The owner is lovely and friendly as are the rest of the staff. Lovely food and reasonably priced. Great location. I would stop again. The room we had, number 5, was large and clean. The village itself is well worth a visit. 

Great pkace

Small basic hotel near the foot of the village. Classified as 2*, but we were given the option of a twin en-suite room (including breakfast) with a castle view for no additional cost. Two of us, 3 nights for 140 euros total. Excellent value for money. Hotel is changing owner now, so can only comment on the excellent service we enjoyed. Only downside was that there was no soaps or shampoo in the shower/toilet.

Excellent for the money.

Visited the restaurant only. Itwas much better value than many in the town. The two different meals we had were very good and the service was friendly and helpful.
It is a bar but has a small dining area to the rear. It is homely and unpretentious.
