If you are pregnant, be cautious when booking SPA procedures that are marked with a symbol that indicates "suitable for pregnant women", as they might not be safe, because it includes lying on your back for extended periods of time, with no alternative. For example, I booked a face massage procedure, which turned out to be possible only while on my back the entire time, no seated or half-seated option. Staff offered only to cancel free of charge, as they cannot change the procedure to really be suitable for pregnant women. Shouldn't SPA places, that offer procedures for pregnant women, know that towards the end of pregnancy women can't lie on their backs for extended periods of time?

I enjoyed the time I spent at this hotel, but I would like to mention a few problems with cleaning the room. The rest of the service was high, the staff was friendly and responsive. The location of the hotel is good - close to the forest and the sea, which added a special charm to the stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed the variety of cuisine offered in the restaurant and a pleasant relaxation in the spa.

All in all it is a nice "sanatorium", but the single room was too small and stuffy so even if you travel alone book a double room. The treatment package was not worth the money as most of the treatements were useless so it is better to pay for the massage or anything else you want separately. The three meals inclusive deal was not a good idea, especially for dinner. So it is advisable to just take breakfast. However, Palanga itself does not have too many good restaurants. So take this into account...The cleanileness was not always good.  Cleaning was very basic. They claim to be 4 star but give you only 2 towels as a result of which after taking shower which you do all the time if you take 5 treatements a day as i did, the bathroom floor is conitnuously wet and unclean. The location is OK if you are just interested in lying on the beach. But it is quite far from the city itself, from the pier, from the museums. So i walked about 10 to 13 kilometers every day amongst the decaying Soviet health centers to get to the center, which was good healthwise but not for everyone...

Nice sanatorium, but not 4 stars

The hotell from Hell. Stay away, its better to jump in the river and learn to swim. 
I never complan, The breakfest was bad, cold green eggs? Juce mixed whit water? I so disepoined, The pictures of swimming pool and Sauna was small and it was not rom for many people. Noise, starting at 0700. But Dinner was good. BUT Stay away.

This place is great! Guests can enjoy SPA, 4 different Saunas,Jacuzzi and Swimming pools!The breakfast is superb, lots of choices and very delicious. 5* star for the breakfast!

In general, we really liked this hotel, despite the fact that the room was not ready by 15.00, but we waited. When leaving, we were given an invoice without a receipt and we paid, after I checked and they counted one of the treatments that I did not do. We asked for a refund, for which we were told to go to the spa, at the spa we were told back to the reception... at the reception they gave us to fill out a form where there was no bank account, but the address and many other things had to be filed, To which we turned around and left, we didn’t have time for that. To take money it was quick but refund it take a time and for there fault. Be careful. And  check your bill before paying.

We had really bad experience at this place with our family (5adults, 2 kids). We arrived and after waiting 15 mins with no acknowledgement from staff we decided to find waiter/ waitress ourselves for them to take our order. After almost 30mins of waiting for our drinks we approached the bartender to ask where our drinks were and can we get a bit speeder service. The bartender then approached our table and with raised voices told us we won’t be served at all and we should thank the friend who approached him to enquire about the slow service. We were shocked by bartenders statement and didn’t quite understand why we were all of a sudden declined the service! After having further conversation we found out that waitress Brigita only passed our order to bartender 20 mins after we placed it with her. She was not apologetic whatsoever and told us to calm down. We had to leave this place after the staff caused embarrassment to us in front of other customers and we didn’t even receive an apology for their incompetence. This place definitely needs to train their staff on customer service.

7 th floor bar

We have stayed many times , but this time was not as good, we had a few problems with the room, one of the problems was the fridge which was very loud and kept us awake, when we reported it they told us they are a bit loud andvthey could turn it off, we said that was no good as we had things in it, in the end they offered us another room, and the fridge in that room was fine, but the staff this time did not seem very happy normaly  they are happy and cant do enough for you,Also this time it was very dusty but that is because they are doing a lot of building work and must be expected, We will go back again, because in the past it has always been very good, may be this was just a one off, so lets hope everything  is back to normal  when we go again in the summer

What we liked:
Very spacious and clean room.
Good food.
Pool and spa area, very warm water in the pools.
Close to the sea (approx. 600 m walk through a pine tree forest).
Bathrobes in the room; pools are conveniently in the same building so there is no need to undress and dress up fully before going to the pool and after it.
Nice staff.
What we didn't like:
Our room was on the second floor, directly over the pool area, so we heard constant humming (pool pumps or some other pool equipment) whenever we were in the room during the daytime (pool is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the evenings, so we could hear the noise in our room all the time, except for the night).
The floors of the pools are very strange - they have different levels which are not gradual - you could be standing in the 1.4 m depth area on one foot and would not touch the floor with another foot as it is 1.7 or 1.8 m deep.
Very bright lights of the AC unit and power control unit in the room - we had to cover them with whatever at night so that they would not hinder us to sleep: the blue light of the power unit, in particular, shone so brightly that it seemed that the door was not shut tight and the light was coming in from the corridor.

Very pleasant stay, had its drawbacks though

On the whole a very nice relaxing stay. Minor dislikes were at times service was slow, . For example to order and receive drinks took one hour on one occasion,  and one time after ordering food in the 7th floor lounge our meats arrived at different times. The reason was according to the waiting staff was they had a party of people which took preference.  Having said that staff were friendly and the rest of our orders were served with efficiently and the food was of a high quality.
Pool  and spa area was good and comfortable. Only minor complaint was that the pool attendants were more interested in chatting to each other and playing on their phones. Check in was fast and efficient and we received a warm welcome from the Receptionist.
Good location,  nice 10 minute walk to the beach through the forest.  40 minute walk to the centre of Palanga. 
Good on site parking.
Despite the one or two niggles we will return to enjoy the facilities again.
