I have really enjoyed my stay at Alpetri apartments.  The apartment itself is clean, has everything you need and close to the centre of town.  I'm currently recovering from abdominal surgery and Nora was more than happy to leave me an extra pillow.  She has been responsive to WhatsApp messages and helpful when I couldn't switch the washing machine on 🤣.  I love the private balcony, the bed is very comfy and the shower is lovely too.  As a solo traveller I have felt safe, comfortable and at home for the duration of my trip :)

It is very well located, next to the white church and very near from center (20-25min to old town). Just 850 meters (a half mile) from Akropolis mall. The apartment is totally equipped with all facilities you will need (microwave, kettle, dishes, washing machine...).

Perfect apartment, even for someone who is recovering from surgery.

Excellent Choice!

The photos looked very nice, but in reality it is not that good. I think it is converted  shops with a big windows and nets. Converted as cheep as possible with original bits barely covered over. Very hard to describe some of the features. Yes it has everything but it looks old. Some is actually new, but terribly old fashioned to westerners. Access is down a very narrow track between two buildings. You have no chance of finding it on your own the first time. An electric gate restricts vehicle access but it soon became apparent that it was a local shortcut for all and sundry on foot, so don't leave your car unlocked or anything on display in the car.  The noise from passers by is fairly loud, especially late at night and at weekend into the early hours. So a quiet restful spot it is not. Access for the apartment is fine but don't shut the door with the keys inside or your stuck.  No one one was on site for rescue.  (Ok that one was down to us).
The photos Inside the apartment  looked very nice, but in reality it is not that good. Yes it has everything but some of it is old, tired, well worn and some is quite new. I struggle with the word apartment, more like a small flat or large bed sit. Interior layout is dictated by the old shop set up which as a bed sit or flat is strange. 
On the plus side it is quite central and close to the weekend market.
But overall, Not the best. Better to look elsewhere.

Little disappointing.

The apartments are situated really good - practically near the central Cathedral on Laisves al. - all sightseeing, including a large luna-park of soviet times (brilliant experience for bargain prices - 1-1,5Eur for a ride).
BUT.
The apartment (we were staying in early June) was really cold. The floor is twice as cold - our little one left Kaunas with a temperature. Basically you can find everything that is needed - like coffee machine or washing machine, but you do not feel at home here. The floor is very squeaky. The frying pan was covered with scratches and made with the cheapest Teflon, you would prefer buy your own. Plenty of dust under the bed. Next time we would prefer to stay in a hotel.

Not the best option..

One wonders what the former function of these apartments was. Mirrors everywhere, red painted ceilings, fluffy purple and pink furniture, red spots in the hallway. Ether were supposed to be two double and on single bed in our apartment. The single bed was missing. Smallish bathroom and kitchens. Good double beds though.

Pros  In city centre 

Cons.    The ground floor apartment in block 5b is actually a shop that has been converted into what I could best describe as a bed-sit due to its  most peculiar lay out. This acccomadation is in dire need of refurbishment and does not have a dishwasher, washer/dryer or any controllable form of heating to mention just a few of the items that are mentioned in the description by the owners. During our  6 night stay the towels and bed linen were not change, the waste bins were not emptied and nor was there anywhere outside to put kitchen waste

The entrance to the acccomadation and all the windows face into a courtyard that is actually in a pedestrian throughway which is heavily used by the local populace making it extremely noisy with people passing by until the early hours
