I arrived by foot (good idea as it's on a pedestrian street) . It was an easy walk from the bus station (about 15 mins) even on a cold night with my suitcase. Delighted to find this well equipped room in an cosy apartment (think guest house, not backpacker place)  with lovely wood trims and a little kitchen at my room. Great internet, a table and chairs in the room as well as a comfy 'parlour'. Shared bathroom but only between 2 rooms. Owner doesn't live on site but came to welcome me and was super friendly and helpful, made sure I had everything needed. Lots of interesting cafes and a supermarket on the street. Really looking forward to exploring Kaunas tomorrow with this well located haven as a base.

Cosy, great location, good facilities.

During my 6 months stay in Lithuania I had to visit the next big city to the capital one, Vilnius, that being Kaunas. Me and my friend looked for accommodation in Kaunas, of course, something cheap as we are merely students and we don't want something expensive, just a place where we can sleep and take a shower after long days of visiting the city of Kaunas. So this place offers exactly there: beds, a bathroom ( not common ) and a common kitchen. It is a very good location for somebody who wants to see the city because it is also located in the city center so you can roam around and then come back if you feel tired or you are just done for the day. 
For anyone who wants to visit Kaunas, I recommend this Hostel.

Good place, in the center, quiet

Very conveniently located.
Pleasant room with bathroom adjacent.
Kaunus was a great place to visit. Excellent local bars and restaurants. Hostel Lux very affordable and hard to beat for a central location.

We stayed here for two nights in august. Rooms are clean and nice and the bed was comfortable. The owner is super friendly and helpful and really flexible with all organizations as we checked in late for example. He also showed us many good places and restaurants to visit and they really were worth it! Kaunas is so nice city and this hostel and it's owner made our visit even lovelier.

Really good experience!

The hostel is located in main Laisves alley in a best possible location next to Soboras. Everything is reachable by foot. The rooms are a bit outdated and an be loud if other guests are partying but otherwise it is fine. 

Great location 

The owner is very friendly. He talked about Kaunas fire more than half an our and show all important places for visit in a map. It is a clean and lovely place in the main street of Kaunas. You can arrive old town in 25 minutes by walking. Also you can reach to bus station in 30 minutes by walking with a huge suitcase. Good location.
