Unfortunately, we only had one night in Liechtenstein, but Fernsicht was amazing and we had a wonderful time! There are restaurants within walking distance and the town is close by and easy to navigate via driving.  The view was Fernsicht was incredible and we were lucky enough to be able to observe a lightening storm above the mountains!  We highly recommend this B&B.

The owners take care and maintain the hotel on their own, which brings in even more value to this place: clean and very cozy rooms, delicious breakfast, stunning view, very careful attention to each visitor...I know that I will come back, because they have me fall in love with B&B Fernsicht.

Wonderful hotel with family atmosphere

B & B Fernsicht is an exceptional family operated European style neighborhood inn.  It is located near the top of a hill overlooking Eschen, so there are beautiful views of the valley and mountains in every direction. The innkeepers were very helpful, and provided an excellent breakfast. The rooms are very nice and well appointed. The inn includes a spacious common area in which there are two guitars and a piano. It was really nice to have a guitar to play while away from home. There are several restaurants within walking distance, the closest of which is Guesthouse Hirschen, a 3-minute walk away. The price is a little on the high side, but is competitive for this area. Liechtenstein is a delightful place to visit. Next time we will stay longer.

This location is accessible by public transportation, but it is a little tricky so the following may be helpful:  Bus #11 runs frequently between the train stations in Feldkirch, Austria and Sargans, Switzerland. The bus stop closest to B & B Fernsicht is Eschen Post. Feldkirch to Eschen Post takes 20 minutes and costs CHF 4.  Eschen Post to Sargans goes through Vaduz, takes 40 minutes and costs CHF 9.  Travelers pay the bus driver.

Since B &B Fernsicht has beautiful views out over the valley, it stands to reason that it is an uphill walk to get there. Near Eschen Post, at Restaurant Fago, you can see B & B Fernsicht up on the hill. The innkeepers are very gracious and may come rescue you if you call them, or at least find you a taxi. If you choose to walk it takes less than 15 minutes. However, the shortest route will take you up 131 steps; something you might want to consider if you have luggage in tow. To avoid the steps, follow Haldengasse to the left; turn right onto In der Halde.  At the intersection of In der Halde and Eichenstrasse, Widengasse is just a pedestrian walkway, with B & B Fernsicht just ahead on the right.  There is no sign for B & B Fernsicht, but it is just behind Guesthouse Hirschen, which is obvious on Eichenstrasse.

The views from the room are spectacular, the breakfast is good as is the service, clean rooms well furnished and good facilities. It is good for overnight stays. Local restaurant was good with wholesome food reasonably priced

Absolutely sublime stay. The view from our room was breathtaking and the service excellent. It's a small place, but full of character. Liked it more than other 5 star hotels. Really peaceful and tasteful.
