We stayed there 2 days in the hotel. The price was expensive for what we got. Room was ok, the view was good but the safe was broken and the refrigerator was not working. 
Outside the room, the spaces were not clean specially the pool and the area around it. We woke up to find on the tables next to the pool cigarettes, fries and stuff from yesterday that were all the day without anyone coming to clean it.
The pool was full of particulates and hair and the beach was not clean at all. The star I gave this hotel is for the view and the food that was good and delicious.

Not good

I stayed here with colleagues for work, and we visited out of season. The hotel is obviously set up for large scale occupation in season - the restaurant is huge, for example, but felt almost spooky it was so quiet out of season. The skeleton staff did a very good job of looking after us - and, once we had found someone to serve us, the food was good (don't bother with the continental breakfast though - go with the Lebanese). Rooms were spacious and warm, beds comfortable, hot water a little erratic. 
The staff, when we met them, were lovely - but everything was very much in off season mode - it wasn't always clear what was open and what was closed, and the large public spaces were deserted.

Stayed there for a night after we were invited for our friends wedding. The place as looks is simply amazing, very well decorated and equipped. The fall back is in the service, we took the key to our room after a kind of smooth check in and went up to find on our room door a signage do not disturb, i had to call to the reception from the hallway phone and explained the situation to the receptionist and he simply said dont worry its empty. Then we heard voices from the room.. after opening slowly like thieves it turned out that the TV is on and the room is dirty and in a mess but no sign of people. I went back down to the reception where the receptionist laughed and said those lousy housekeepers they put the room ready while its not, don't worry we will do the needful. We came back at night to find the room still dirty and the luggage is not there! again with the receptionist he said: Oh we moved your things to a new room my friend(the other receptionist) didn't tell you? that is actually very funny for a place supposed to be a 5 star hotel lol.
Also the food on the breakfast buffet is very poor, it should have more value.
The place itself is amazing just needs better follow up

Disappointing

We stayed 2 nights after our wedding at Jiyeh Marina; however, we didnt get a special service rather the room had couple technical issues that required maintenace during our stay which was disappointing as we were new married couple. No one waiting at the hotel entrance as we had to remove our luggage from the car inside the hotel after which someone showed up to assist in taking them to the room.

Poor

It seemed that Property management has changed from last year where it was much better and client friendly. Less cleaning crew to clean pool area especially inside, hotel rooms are not well maintained.

The beach is beautiful and clean, room is nice and balcony is spacious. Sea view is not wonderful but nice

First they ask u to park the car by yourself ,carry your bags and u should also pay for the parking. 2nd the reception doesn’t  give u options and they just say if u want to cancel u loose the money which you have paid this is the only thing they were repeating even the upgrade option with additional payment was not available.Mosquito all over the place even the room.Unfriendly staff Breakfast was a really bad choice all cups are dirty and no variety in food tables and floor is so dirty.TV was not working well and we called the Tec twice.Wedding party till 1:30 AM  noisy so we’ve missed the chance to sit inside because of the TV and outside because of the wedding.Some restaurants in the same hotel doesn’t Have the option to add the payment to the room So u should hold cash all time

This review is not for the hotel but a one day entry to the sea club. The facilities are great lots of green  and the beach is protected from the waves by a marina making a nice spot for swimming. The restaurant serve very yummy food and a must. It would have been great if the shower facilities are more as when its crowded  they run out of hot water. Overall recommended

Nice sea club

They tell you beakfast starts at 7AM. One day came down at 7:30 and they were not even ready to start breakfast, they were just starting to put out the food ad the chef showed up at 7:50. We had to leave for work or else we would be late.
