We checked in on 20 March 2022 they told us the hotel is fully booked and only 2 rooms at 335$ per night , I checked online the price is 175 after tax, this is not acceptable 
Also the room they gave us has no view and no internet 
So basically we were ripped off and paid double for less the value 
Not again we will tell our story to all our group to avoid such miss treatment and unacceptably

Double charged

One  get surprised from the title and the opposed rating, the rating is simply for not enforcing a dress code after all Intercontinental chain is a five star rated hotels and should not allow people to have breakfast wearing pyjamas and even worse a lady was having breakfast in her white bath robe!!!!! The rooms are clean, needs bit of modernisation, and double glazing as the noise level was very loud, the lobby bar service is good so is the food, the breakfast could be better and richer ( very poor fruit selection, frozen knafeh re-heated). despite all the place is fun and recommended probably not in high seasons

Clean, fun and great staff

We stayed for few nights in a Premium room.
The rates were good although i got high season prices.
A perfect place to be in winter, 
Everything was great, heated pool, bowling, breakfast buffet (indoor and outdoor seating), lobby lounge etc yet the morning walk is by itself something to remember.
Unfortunately there was no snow

No Snow in Decemberr

We have come to spend a relaxing night in the hotel unfortunately it turned out terrible due to cigar smoking in the lobby where the kids couldnt eat or watch tv accordingly!!!!!!’we even told them
We will leave and they said you can do so!!!!!what a service that accomodates smokers in closed areas!!!

I stayed for 5 days, I was lucky to experience a snowfall for a few days in a row, the hotel is beautiful, clean, warm.. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Everyone was super nice starting from the security, receptionist, staff from the restaurant etc.. I’m amazed how nice and helpful they were with us, specially Omnia, Souha and Roy, staff from reception. Thank you so much for being so nice with us. I highly  recommend this Hotel, you won’t regret.

Amazing treatment by the staff

I was truly impressed impressed by the spa facility at the hotel. 

It's clean, the ambiance is nice and has a good energy. A plus was that my classical favorites were played through the spa music system, to add to the relaxing environment.

The staff is professional and friendly which was a pleasure itself.

First I had a fabulous hour facial by Diane. She is a true gem!! Not only does she give you a perfect facial for your skins needs, she is also a good masseuse and really interesting lady. She gently exfoliated my tired skin and helped me heal a facial rash I've had for months. It looks so much better today. I am truly grateful for this lovely lady's expertise. 

Then I had a massage with Sanaa. WOW! Don't be fooled by her stature. She is powerful and knows exactly how to work out the kinks in the tightest knots. I happily felt like rubber after she gave me an epic and much needed massage. 

I enjoyed it a lot and I hope you do too.

Don't miss out on the spa experience!

All the staff was friendly and always willing to help you. There’s 2 ski/snowboard rental shops in -2 floor and a lift to the slops in the door of the hotel.
The room is very clean and the breakfast excellent.
Probably the best option to stay in Mazaar.


Excellent Place

Hotel was amazing. Upgraded to good view room on arrival. Stunning. So good to have everything under one roof. The ski rental on the ground floor the restaurants and ski lifts on the level 2. The staff at reception and bar were super friendly. The room cleaning was fantastic twice a day, even sorted our suitcases and hung clothes in the wardrobe. Really appreciated after a full day on the mountains. Easy to find and use valet on arrive and throughout the weekend we were there. Really good price for the service, have been recommending to friends and family. And the bed was FANTASTIC, best sleep i've had.

Amazing Place for first time ski trip in lebanon

I didn’t stay in the hotel this time i went to have lunch in le refuge . my experience is very disappointing  . I reserved one week ago in this reataurant. When i reached they said no reservation was made and they didn’t want to give me a table at first , then he wanted to give me a table for 4  in the corner and we are 6 !! Then he told me if I didn’t like it I can leave twiicee !!! I told him it’s not up to him if i stay or not , if my kids weren’t with me i would have left !?? RUDE. IMPOLITE IRRESPECTABLE , the managers think they are somehing ... untrained staff. NEVERRR AGAIINNN

Bad staff at le refuge restaurant

We had here some drinks in the lobby while visiting the skiing area. A really beautiful hotel lobby area. Pretty big, but still feels cozy. It is perfectly located close to the slopes.
So, just to make sure: we haven’t stayed a night in the hotel.
