From the moment we arrived everything was perfect.

 We stayed as a family and booked 2 rooms. The staff were extremely welcoming and very attentive to all requests. The food at the restaurant was so good. Great location with beautiful views. Will defenitly return.

One of the few hotels and can teach about the Lebanese Hospitality. The staff were helpful , Respectable. The Hotel Manager knows her Job Well and k kws how to please the guests. Simply amazing . 

Our Stay @ Mir Amin - Simply excellent 

For upscale dining in a beautiful palace, head to Mir Amin Palace. This complex, which looks out over the Beiteddine Palace and surrounding mountains, was the residence of the youngest son of Emir Bashir II Chehab. Today, the palace is a gorgeous hotel and restaurant.

The staff are very hospitable and helpful - it was an amazing experience, the hotel is authentic, renovated, clean and very well located. It's surrounded by a wonderful green landscape.
The food at the restaurant is delicious too!

I have booked the diwan for a private event the place was amazing for its function clean and well prepared and the management of hotel extended their hospitality and professional support  .

The palace is truly an amazing place to experience ans enjoy from staying there and enjoying the beautiful views from the terrace restaurant.

My experience with mir amin palace hotel

The location and the venue are historical and beautiful  and well maintained.
The staff are friendly, ready to help.
The only resto and terrace in the hotel has  no variety of alcohol drinks , only the basics one.
So if u wish to spend the night and enjoy the view while drinking some delicious cocktails its not the right place.
By the pool same story  which was also unsatisfactory.
Breakfast was included, but we were shocked when we found out there is no buffet, only a traditional Lebanese breakfast( labne, eggs, foul, one plate of white cheese and some mini manakich)  its was not up to our expectations considering that the price  was the highest on the market.
 So you can consider your self only paying for the hotel and location experience, its not an overall positive one.

Overpriced hotel

A very special location and castle, surrounded by mountains view that you can enjoy from the pool. Food was fair while were super helpful. Rooms are well cleaned and historic. In my opinion, it falls into the top 5 hotels that must be visit when you come to Lebanon.

Amazing!!!

A great and quiet location in the middle of Chouf, the staff is nice with warm welcome. the rooms and baths are clean despite being a bit old, the mattress is extremely comfy, and finally the restaurant food was top of the top, whereas for the dinner, breakfast or the lunch.
Well recommended for 1 or 2 nights with some attractions around

The ratings and reputation of this place years ago no longer represent the reality of this hotel. You may think you're going to have the best vacation ever, but you're shocked at the construction work that the staff didn't inform you about while you were booking the rooms. The construction of a wedding venue went on and on until early morning hours because they were late in the preparations – Our visit was a recipe for migraine. 
I have never seen such novice, unqualified hospitality staff in all over Lebanon. They just seemed so careless that it was only during the check-out time that the manager, Mr. Gerges, came and spoke to us only after we had asked him to do so. When we confronted him, he began to raise his voice until he was asked to lower it. They just don't know how to apologize for all the errors and they don't make any effort to coordinate between departments: 
•	When we asked our breakfast to be served on the terrace, the waiter refused to do so stating that his service was only within the building (though the terrace is 10 meters away from the indoor space). The waiter was not informed about the history of a series of unpleasant experience we were having.
•	The Lady at the reception lied to us saying that she called our room to inform us of the late check-out as consolation for the mistakes they made, but said that we were having breakfast and that there was no one in the room. When we asked her why she didn't come to our table to give us a message knowing that we were not in the room and the fact that she was seeing us having breakfast, she didn't have an answer.
•	The manager lied to us about wanting to make up for a dinner invitation at another restaurant in the area that had already been closed before we even left the hotel. When he was asked about it, he tried to make excuses not knowing the restaurant was closed.
The beautiful setting and the exquisite building of the palace and the grounds do not deserve such a poor management. It's a shame that people think they can hush you up with a suggestion of late check-out just after you're completely dressed at the reception and ready to leave or feel that the wasted time you've had in their venue during your last three days of stay in Lebanon can be compensated for by some other kind of gesture like additional time for pool access or providing food which was not even suggested by the management.
I have honestly never been anywhere and met such rude two faced staff. I am not sure why the owner(s) have left the venue for such unprofessional team to manage. Departments do not communicate with each other and staff do not communicate with guests.

DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE! Read the reviews of 2020 not the previous ones which were before the financial crisis in Lebanon. Their service has drastically changed.
