Room is one of four in a beautiful guesthouse separate from the owner's house located on a quiet country road a short walk from the village and road leading to the sculpture park.  We arrived early and the owner was gracious in checking us in.  The guesthouse is  new and comfortable and very quiet with a lovely common room and balcony.  Very interesting little town, bit off the beaten path with good bus service from Riga.

Rambules is very pleasant small hotel in heart of Kurzeme. We loved this beautiful evening, sitting on lovely balcony. Our room was big enough, shower and WC were OK, Downstairs is big room for parties and kitchen we used for cooking. Owner is good in communication, only his english is poor...We liked our stay and later we assumed, it was our best night during our 3- day trip to beautiful Kurzeme. Only one remark: stairs to second floors needed a vacuum- cleaner.

Pleasant stay in Sabile, Kurzeme

This is a good place to stay, if you are visiting Sabile or the Pedvale Open Air Art Museum.  The rooms have adequate private bathrooms, and there is a nice common balcony and a TV room on the second floor.  The grounds are esquisitely landscaped.  Room 4 had 2 single beds side by side in an alcove, to make a king sized bed.  It could only be entered from the foot, as the two beds completely filled the alcove.  The WiFi signal varied a lot, probably because it was blocked by a metal roof.  It was best near a window or on the balcony.  Use of the sauna or pool is extra.  The locals had a yoga class meeting there once a week, but they cleared out early enough so that this was not a problem.  There are some shelves, but no closets.

Good Place, no closets

I stayed in this hotel over "Sabile festival of wine". So, this was the only hotel in the city and i book it. This was a simple country hotel with good sleep quality and good location, near the city center. Room was simple, but had everything needed- shower, TV, toilet. I recommend this hotel for a quite stay.
