Don't waste your time and money! After 10 minutes at the hotel, you just want to get out. In the pictures, everything looks very even beautiful, but in reality, it's an old renovation with walls covered, a screwdriver bed and a TV from the 90s. Two local channels at your service, where you can't watch anything. It's terrible and miserable. When you register, you ordered breakfast... and you didn't wait for it, as it turned out, you had to come get it yourself and take it to the room! S-service. The impression from the room is only regret that we chose this hotel.

No, no, and no, again!

Yeah, the TV was rubbish and beds a bit tired, but...
1. Location is excellent - in the middle of old town.
2. Neraby are all Kuldigas most important sights (incl waterfall, bridge, Catholic Church and St. Chatarina Church.
3. The breakfast was excellent.
4. Parking is free (in the heart of old town!).
5. We had there very good time.

So - this is good hotel. Forget the TV - Kuldiga is just too beautiful - dont waste Your time there on TV in hotel!

Good enough!

The hotel is located right in the centre of Kuldigas, opposite the restaurants. It is easy to visit the whole city on foot. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, but the decoration and electrical installation are to be repaired. We had a room on the top floor with a velvet and a window without a curtain. So we were awakened by the daylight, not to mention a noisy party was held on the ground floor until late at night. Finally, we slept badly. Breakfast is fine, but there are no service covers and some guests serve with their fingers. Hi hygiene!

The hotel is located completely in the center of the small town. From the outside, the hotel gives a good and solid impression. From the inside, it seems dark due to its predominantly black, brown and gray-colored furnishings. We had a maisonette room on the third floor (the elevator has 9 floors, but there are only three). The furnishing of the room seemed unpleasant, as if you had accommodated the rest of the furniture. For example, a cardboard cabinet stood seemingly unmotivated on a wall.

It's not pretty.

Kuldiga is a beautiful small town. The metropolis is located in the heart of the city, from here you can get to the sculpture garden and the waterfalls very quickly and easily. Restaurants and cafes are all around. The service was good, the room was a surprise, as it was located on two floors - downstairs, bathroom and seating, to reach the top floor via a spiral staircase - where you could find the bed. Although it was under the roof, it was very pleasant because there was air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was good.

Located in the heart of the city and yet quiet and relaxed

Hotel Metropol´s location is very good: at the Town Hall Square and at the end of Liepajas Iela, which is the high street of Kuldigas. The reception was friendly, the room was o.k. and there is a free parking on the back yard of the hotel. The breakfast was quite simple, could have been more versatile.

The old hotel in a wonderful city! burned several times, but it was restored and preserved its historical appearance. The location is the best! On the central square with a pedestrian street exit. To the famous waterfall - ten minutes' walk. Stylish interior! Noble staff!. One-seat room is large and cozy. Comfortable bed with a forked head. Unusual furniture. Mansardi windows. Clean bathroom with fan and quality cosmetic accessories. It would be good to replace the carpet cover - it's all stained. Put a small refrigerator (as it's weekly tomorrow). Irrigate the windows.

A cozy hotel room in the perfect location!

We were visiting Kuldīga for 3 days. We were two adults and small baby. Price was great, made booking via hotel website. 
Very helpful staff. Only place in Kuldīga where you can stay and enjoy breakfast in the same building (imagine walking outside from one building to another with few month old baby when outside temperature is -7). Breakfast was really good. 
Baby crab was already placed in a room without any additional charge. 
Free parking for car. 

Good conditions, great location. 

The service at check-in, and all the other encounters, was sparingly friendly. At breakfast, you were greeted by two young girls, and there was no friendly gesture. We found this strange. In the guestbook we found significantly better comments. Maybe we were just unlucky, or today other standards of kindness are being put in place. The rooms were a little old but clean. You should be careful not to get a room at the back of the house because there was no noise all night. Without hearing protection, there is no need to think about sleeping!!! This fact leads to a devaluation. Breakfast is completely fine there.
