The campsite was like straight from the sets of a horror movie.  There was trash and dilapidated buildings everywhere.  In addition, everything was financed separately. Shower and toilets was dirty and the water smelled horrible. The only positive thing was the location near the beach.

Horrible

Good location, so cheap to stay there for a one night with a van. Staff was extremely friendly & fluent with various languages. Toilets & showers need some fixing but are kept clean by a lady quite often. On a saturday evening there's a DJ that plays until 2 o´clock in the night & the bar is open. Other times, it's very calm & silent in the evenings. 

Best thing was that the beach is so near!!! So beautiful sand & sea to explore!! This place is for budget travelling. But don't sleep in those huts... I don't know if those were healthy. Travelling by own van, you enjoy this a lot more.

Travels with van

Staying here with little kid. Best thing - the beach is close. Music on full volume at night time? Terrible. Why other people have to listen and can’t sleep at night? Houses are very old and not clean. The place is very overpriced.

Old, loud and dirty

Just a one minute walk to the beach. Toilets and showers are very old and dirty. 
29€/ per night is very much from this place.
The crass area were nice. Easy to park caravan.
At the area there was a bar and you could order frozen pizzas.

Old but ”gold”

Overpriced for place like this, dirty, no lock in toilets. Pay extra for everything.. the huts are so old and dirty, have to pay extra for sheet pillow and so on.. course if there is no place to go than you can suffer it for one day :)

Never go to nemo

Cottages are dirty and smelly and overpriced by a factor 3 for what they offer. Sheets extra. They charge you 7.5€ for parking near cottage anf 4.5€ for parking on an outside parking. During weekend there is bunch of Latvian weekenders, so they don´t bother. As for the rest, management should consider to advertise this place as soviet experience. But on the other hand, I´m sure Stalin would get them all shot for doing such a lousy job!

Solution for this place? Dynamite and bulldozer!

Stayed one night after long drive with camper van. Our friends stayed in one of the smelly Soviet era huts. Dirty run down toilet facilities. Don't choose this one!

Far from the main beach and city area. Not friendly staff. Not a place to bring your children. Photos on the page are photoshopped or decades old. Bad place.

AVOID! Dirty, run down

Time has not treated this place well. Everything on the site is falling apart and there seems to be no effort in repairing anything. The site is certainly an experience in a time-machine sort of way. I don't regret going there, but am sure that i won't be visiting again. There was some strange charm in the place.
