If you are looking for a house for 3-4 families or you are group of the friends that want to spend 
the holidays in a beautiful house - this house must be your choise. Location is just perfect - 
the house is surrounded by the forest, and it located nearby Lake Augstroze. 
The lake is good for swimming and fishing, we took the boat and our children were 
very happy for take a ride. 

The rooms are clean, every floor has a bathrooms and toilets. The kitchen is quite big and 
we used to cook there a lot. We used the picnic zone as well for making a barbique and even 
it was a place for a small "koster" for our children. There are a lot of flowers near the house,
that added a lot for the beaty of the place.

We used the Russian bathing house even twice, the house has a quite big room on the second floor for 
spending the rest time during the bathing. We had a good time there, 2 evenings we spent 
there playing with our children and having a tea and local beers with our friends.

The property owners are very kind and polite, it was a pleasure to talk with them, 
and they helped us a lot with advising us the nearest attraction and interesting places 
nearby. We love this house and our stay was just perfect. I hope we will return to be there once  again.

Ideal place for your vacation in Latvia

Very quiet place with access to the lake (you can ask for a rowing boat), the place is ideal for the nature-oriented activities (trails, lake swimming, forest with blueberries...) as well as for travelling to near-located attractions (~20 km to Valmiera or Limbazi, a bit more to Sigulda or Cesis).
The house is attended by the hosts who live nearby. 
The property consists of 
- the living house with the fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a dining room and several bedrooms
- the bathhouse with the bath (including small pool) and a lounge (book the bath first thing in the morning, as it takes several hours to properly prepare it)
- the outside barbecue place with the dining area 
- the campfire place (located not far to the BBQ, so parents can oversee children's bonfires
- playground/sandbox + huge wooden swing
- some additional dining places (like tents)

The walk to the lake is about 2 minutes, children can walk by themselves.
The hosts are very knowledgeable about the surroundings and are willing to help you about practically everything (we ordered fresh milk, fresh berries etc via them).

The water is very (too) rich with iron so it is brown - do not be afraid of it but if your children are afraid, better buy bottled water - or walk to the well (about 4 min walk)
