Compared to other rooms, this one was the cheapest, but you don't get much in return if you compare to other cities. The room was clean and we had tv, a fridge and aircon. A lot of mosquitoes, so light a coil or use a mosquito plug. No toilet paper or soap and there was sill a dirty glass from the previous people in the room. The bathroom was dirty and there were worms under the bathroom floor. They came out when we took a shower! (Fyi, we had room 19). The toilet and taps were making ratteling sounds because of air in the plumbing system. Normally we are not the people to complain, but for 120k kip we have had far better places than that one. The location on the other hand was good.

Overpriced

Avoid this place. It's dirty and full of mosquitoes. The mosquito net was broken in our room. 
The shared bathroom wasn't clean and the shower sucks.

Way overpriced for what it is. Don't hesitate to check out nearby guesthouses. There are plenty of options around, just walk around for 10 minutes and you'll find something better than this. 

Dirty and not friendly

So we arrived from Pakse early in the morning. After checking a few places to stay and finding they were expensive we came here! We were told that the only room available was the double room with fan and aircon and own bathroom which they were charging 120,000kip. We said no to this and asked if they had anymore and they said yes they do but it will be after people check out! We said fine we will wait! Our room was ready before the time they said which was perfect! The room was okay, big and had a sofa in it however you couldn't open the curtains and there was alot of mosquitoes! The sheets were clean but one pillow was unsleepable with. 
Later that night when we were going to bed, it was impossible to go to sleep as there were people and children right outside our window till 1am speaking really loud! The same happened the following night too but it wasn't as late maybe 11 or 12! On the 2nd morning we were woken at 5am with people speaking really loud outside the window! 
We thought it was a good idea to buy our bus ticket to Luang Prabang from our guest house but how wrong were we!!! We were charged 200,000kip for our sleeping bus including pick up! When we went to rent bicycles from Vientiane backpackers we saw there they only charged 180,000kip for the same journey. We went back to our guest house to tell them and all we were told was that it was commission.

Impossible to sleep and transport too expensive!

Dirty floor and dirty furniture (but the bed was ok) with a shared bathroom where the shower was broken (it seems for quite some time), dirty. Staff unhelpful when you have the chance to find them. To avoid...

Poor room, dirty and broken shared bathroom

Popped in, due to LP review and was told I could have a room for 150k KIP - December is peak season so I insist on looking at the room. Receptionist trudging her feet takes me to a dark dirty room with a bathroom that makes your soul shriek. Ran out.
