Firstly, we arrived and the place looked like it was closed, having got in there was one man behind the reception who could not speak a word of English and so couldn't understand that we had already booked. We had to use Google translate to communicate with him! Then the room was like something out of a horror film. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There were cobwebs and huge spiders in every corner of the room and being someone that is terrified of spiders this was a nightmare for me! I had a shower and there were around 30 dead ants and flies in the toilet! 
We only stayed here due to the location as it was close to the airport, when we checked in we explained  (via Google translate) that we had to get a taxi at 5am to get to the airport (the site said it had 24 hour airport shuttle) he nodded and said come in morning.
Well, we came down at 4am and there was a different guy on a make shift bed asleep in the lobby, he woke up and unlocked the door and gate (which we were not informed would be locked) and told us to leave, we asked him to call a cab but he refused saying he didn't have a number for one and we should get a tuk tuk, this went on for 20 mins at which point he locked the gate and locked us in! Not one tuk tuk had passed during this time! We were begging him to call us a cab and even googled a local cab number and asked him to which he replied it was too expensive and threw us out. Leaving me and my pregnant sister who are both in our 20's to walk 25 mins to the airport at 4.30am. We were in tears! If i could get this place closed down I would in a second! We were there for about 7 hours and could not leave quick enough. Please do not waste your money! This hotel should not be allowed to operate!

We chose this hotel because most of the ones closer to town had a shared bathroom for the same price. We thought since it was only 4 km from town it wouldn't be too bad, but it was really a hassle to haggle for a tuk tuk every morning and evening and we ended up spending an extra 50,000 kip/day to get to and from town. The location alone made it the wrong choice for us but the room itself was also quite gross. The sheets looked alright and the floor had been mopped but the walls were stained, the bathroom floor was really bad, and there was some random food bits in the sink like someone had done dishes in there. There was also some sort of leak that caused the bathroom to be wet as if someone had just taken a shower at all times. We booked in advance online but they didn't seem to have the booking when we arrived and then couldn't help us with anything or answer any questions. I know it's a cheap stay but it's about the same price as most places we've stayed in SE Asia and the quality was much lower.
