Vang Vieng

The room smell and is very old.  During the middle of shower, there were no water.  In addition, the breakfast was horrible.  We asked why is there no meat in the PHO, they replied was "This is free food".  How rude.  They should know that the hotel had priced in the food.  I rather eat street food then their food.

The town is small, so just stay off the streets if you cannot find room.

Do Not Stay Here

We stayed here on Christmas Eve. We were unable to find any other accommodation due to it being extremely busy in Vang Vieng. On arrival, they asked for an absurd price of 100 USD. They smirked all throughout our stay here every time they saw us. It was not pleasant at all.

The room was not nice either. Poor shower and unfinished bedroom. Could hear loud music both nights we stayed.

Breakfast only from 7 - 8.40am... ridiculous.

Please don't stay here. These guys are not friendly, nor helpful. Don't give them the pleasure of ripping you off.

Absurd price, terrible service, arrogant staff

We arrived in Vang Vieng unaware that there was an Asian pop music concert. The whole town was booked out and this hotel was fully aware of this. After walking around town for 3 hours, this hotel was the only place that had a room left. They bumped up the price from 300,000 to 800,000kip per night (100US). The staff were incredibly rude, condescending and arrogant. My bf said a friendly hello as we were coming back into our room and the staff completely ignored him and sniggered at us. Breakfast is only served until 8:40am. The shower is right in between the toilet and basin, when there is a whole empty wall taken up by a rail. The thing that ruined this stay for us was the rude staff. Do not stay here.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were extremely rude, condescending, obnoxious. They charged us $100 USD for a room that was dirty and unfinished. The shower is right over the toilet and broken. The only reason we stayed here was because everywhere else was booked.

Absolutely shocking

After coming from a horrible hotel in Vientiane, this hotel felt ok in the beginning. The room were medium size, basic but ok. The bathroom is large enough, a bit dirty, and with the most ridiculous shower ever, nicely placed between the wc and the basin. The staff were nice, smiling, not very good english speaking, but they try. Someone wrote that the hotel is about 5 years old, but it looks more like 25 years. Maintenance is not very important in Laos. But the room was ok, ac working, and also wifi, although it fades away sometimes.
Breakfast was actually terrible, buffet, but nothing to choose from. Hot water or nescafe. Actually, the restaurant is very lousy, not nice at all, which is sad because it has great potential. A better breakfast would improve the overall satisfaction considerably.
And now for the fun stuff. There were extremely many weird sounds in the room. It is almost as if we can hear anything that is going on in the hotel. One night at about 4.30am I woke up by the sound of a man speaking very loud, but I could not figure out were it came from. He was speaking constantly for one and a half hour. Also, the music from the city at night can be heard very well, but I guess other hotels closer to the city centre is even worse. 
If I ever return to Vang Vieng I will choose another hotel.

Weird hotel

Vang Vieng has no interest in stopping there I didn't like the atmosphere of this city at all the very poor and dirty hotel if you decide to go for a tour by yourself, go on your way it's a shame

I was here with two girlfriends. We shared a room. The room was big and clean. Ideal for bakers who want a bit of rest. The Internet was sometimes good and sometimes not available at all. Unfortunately, I had something even longer from this visit because I caught bedbugs. Very unsightly.

Actually good price-performance ratio, but bed bugs!

Rooms are extremely loud. When you're coughing on the floor, you think it's happening in your own bathroom. Ventilators and drainage in the toilet are extremely loud. In a room nearby, the ventilator ran all night. The result is a swelling and swelling of the air. Breakfast times are short at 7:00 - 8:40. The result is a crowded breakfast area. There's no time to wipe the tables between the individual guests.

Clear-eyed - uncomfortable - beautiful view

The hotel is a bit secretive, but the rooms are spacious and well furnished. Everything is perfectly clean. The staff is very courteous. The big advantage is the slightly detached position from the center which is very chaotic, but which can be reached in a five-minute walk.

The new hotel is well located away from the noise of the many bars for alcoholic drinkers and smokers of illicit products, from all floors you have a stunning view of the campsite and its magical mountains, climate, wifi, tv5monde, clear rooms, must-see
