Genuinely a terrible experience, the food took absolutely ages and was disgusting. Chicken turned up raw and the burger buns resembled bricks. You could knock up fort with the buns. The beef burger made a cow pat look appetising. We told them the chicken was raw and they definitely just microwaved it.

Absolutely horrible AVOID

Horrible horrible horrible. Service terrible…staff don’t even understand their own menu.  Worst experience in three weeks in SE Asia and we aren’t picky!  I hope none of you make the same mistake we did. Never got my drink…food took forever and we had hungry kids.

Please skip this place ! Horrible food, sticky menus, just bones, no meat, no taste. Bad service. Don’t go here. There are much better places in town.

Went here for a late lunch one day: no other patrons in what is a very large dining facility.  Good, extensive menu: we each ordered an Asian style dish which was promptly delivered and proved to be quite tasty.  No problems here, met our immediate requirements well.

Came here for dinner on our last night in laos, the spring rolls were horrible, the noodles overcooked. People serving very nice and attentive, but that`s the only good thing we can say about this restaurant. Noodle soup with vegetables: broth is tasty, only 1 vegetable, noodles overcooked like i said before. Disappointing meal in general

Bad food

Sitting here right now in the restaurant, and we’re trying to decide if this was the worst food we had on our trip this year, or if it’s in fact the worst ever. The staff were so nice and friendly, but they ought to find work somewhere else at any of the myriad options within walking distance. Heck, I’m even looking at the stalls across the street wondering if that’s where we should’ve gone.

Anyways, not sure about the hotel, so you could take your chances there, I guess. 

Oh no

Review of restaurant only. Well located near the night market and great for people watching. Unfortunately the food was poor, in that it was bland and not reflective of the other great local food we experienced in Luang Prabang. The stir fry dishes were OK, but the spring rolls and stuffed bamboo shoots simply lacked flavour.

The worst meal we had in Luang Prabang

Disappointing. I can honestly say of the 3 dishes we ordered they literally tasted the same with different textures. Lemon chicken, pork noodles and beef fried rice. So much oil. Not a hint of anything resembling favouring.

Last night for dinner.

The wait staff and the staff that check us in and out were very friendly and very helpful. Helped us with arranging several services we needed, which I don't believe is part of their jobs. There is hot water, but you have to let the water run for some time before you get it. We were on the second floor facing the street and worried about noise from the night market and restaurant. It actually wasn't horrible. No mosquito or bugs, but the rooms could use a major update, molding issues. It was tolerable, we only stayed because of the staff we met. We did not eat here, but had drinks on a couple occasions and didn't have an issue with service. This wouldn't be my first option to stay, but if I were to stay here again, I would inspect my room first. 

Random thought from reading some reviews and by all means, not to be assuming but: people go to Laos to eat things like spaghetti and pizza? Then complain about it...?

Wasn't Bad, Wasn't Great

Nice lunch, toilet was average, internet was super fast, staff were slow but friendly, recommended but there are nicer places to eat for a more reasonable price. It was 30% full for lunch so obviously popular
