We went to this guesthouse that offered to rent a scooter. It was already ready at 11 o'clock, we were looking forward to going to see the waterfalls so, not the time to turn around and go see somewhere else. We had booked it the day before, we had to pay 100% of the amount up front. The scooter that rented us was a real wreck, room, rotten, almost 40,000 km. We had the spirit of taking pictures of all the damaged areas, what to do with a beautiful album.

Don't rent a scooter at their house!

I stayed here a few days ago with my friend as we are both backpacking through Asia. 

I stupidly left my stuff unlocked for the first time since I’d been travelling and left the room for an hour and all my cash was gone. 

I am not usually one to point fingers and I know it was my fault for not locking my things away but the hostel did not provide a safe therefore I thought I could trust them. 

I sorted all my stuff out on the morning, checked that my cash and passports were there, came back from breakfast and £200 in dollars and pounds were gone and the room had been cleaned.

I went and asked the staff politely if they spoke English to which they said yes, I then mentioned money going missing and their faces said it all.

Really perfect location in the city centre but very calm. Clean everywhere. Perfect breakfast which included in price. Nice and freandly staff. All attractions and river around. Bamboo bridge 2 min by walk. Good price to waterfall only 45000 kip

Central location. Good dorm

Fast free wifi, distant view of Phousi hill from one of the windows, aircon, fan, good channel selection on flat screen TV, comfy large clean double bed, good powerful hot water shower- what more do you want for this price in Luang Prabang?!! I extended my stay here as it was very central for the old colonial buildings, river, Phousi Hill, Tourist office, and places to eat! 
They also have dorms here and cheaper rooms which could well be where the bad reviews come from, along with hiring bikes etc. but for the end ensuite room which I had, it was awesome. Only minor negative is during the day there is some building  work next door, but the owner here was honest and showed me first, before he took my money (Unlike Laos Haven resort in Vang Vieng. Who takes money and doesnt tell you that they are renovating and extending their property aswell as next door. Laos haven resorts owner then resorts to insults when you have a booking and claims that there is no building work! how not to run a hotel...)

Very impressed with aircon room for about $11 a night

I booked a single room at Agoda for 15€. At check-in, they wanted to put me in a small town, the single room is supposed to cost 40€. The small town is not worth 5€. I was told to get my money back from Agoda. It's an absolute shame. The price list at the hotel shows that I could have gotten a single room for about 15€. Probably just overbooked.

Manufacture from materials of any heading

We spent 5 days and nights in this guesthouse, it's more pricy ($20 for a double room) without the breakfast but the room is very clean and with enough space for 2 people. The receptionist is friendly and helpful and it's well located. 

Good journey

We had planned to visit the waterfalls of Kiang Si by scooter, and the prices being the same everywhere, unfortunately we chose their scooter rental services. In short, they gave us a scooter that had already been hit with a faulty steering wheel and direction that moved, almost more brakes, headlights that were detached. And obviously you only realize this once on the road. After we have been painstakingly home (we don't really drive comfortably in these conditions, especially on the roads), we noticed everything about it... which made us laugh.

They almost killed us and made them laugh.

I stayed here for 5 day after previously booking a hostel. I had the best night sleeps in all of Asia during my extended trip. I booked a double bed with ensuite, fast wifi, air conditioning and a fan. Had plenty of storage space including drawers and wardrobe. Very happy with the guy on reception, no problems. Would recommend as it's on the main street, next to all the restaurants and attractions. Very quite, no noise. Thanks guys!

Excellent Guesthouse! Fast Wifi! Nice Shower & Comfy Bed

The room is authentic and charming. It is not too noisy because there is a kind of winter garden that serves as a buffer between the room and the street. There are two double beds  the bunk is a bit hard (but throughout our stay we have had to deal with hard beds...). The owner is very nice and kind  she speaks French. Every morning she participates in the offerings with her family.

very welcoming and comfortable room

Guest house simple, clean, very well situated (our room was on the back). Hard to mock staff, but my husband got there! Free Wifi, price: 17 €/night Room made and changing towels every two days. No breakfast but a restaurant very close to the Tangor (the latter is a very nice French restaurant), serves a convenient and inexpensive breakfast (I recommend in the late afternoon to taste their rice with mango watered with coconut milk (a little expensive - 25.000 k, but a delight!)
