31 reviewsI stayed in Chansavang guesthouse for almost a week after arriving quite unexpectedly in Luang Prabang following a bicycle accident in which I broke my collar bone. So we didn't look around for the nicest hotel, we just went to Changsavang because that's where the tuktuk driver took us. But what a nice experience! Joy and here team are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in 2 different rooms, the first few nights in a double room and the rest in a triple room. The triple room was bigger and a bit more luxurious than the double room: the bed was more comfortable and the shower was also better. We thought the extra kips were worth it. The restaurant is quite nice too, the food they serve is good and it's also a nice meeting place that's frequented by locals and tourists. Nearby are also a lot of other nice bars and restaurants. After almost a week we left Chansavang to explore the area around Luang Prabang, we could leave our bicycles and most of our luggage in the guesthouse. We returned for two more days a week later.
