First of all: This place is okay to stay if you can't find anything else, otherwise there is plenty accomondation with much much better value available.
Good:
- $10 while chinese new year, all other places where booked or had absurd prices
- Fresh towel every day (almost)
- New Water every day
- Basic cleaning and bed was made every day
- The young girl always tried to help us, but the language barrier was a bit tough sometimes

Bad:
- Far out of town
- Took the TukTuk driver 40min to find, because they changed their name to "The Xiong's Inn", Mong Song Guesthouse only get's you close to it. Better try "45 Guesthouse" which is next to it.
- No shops, eateries etc. around
- Door was not locking all the time (need to pull it firmly)
- Not on Google Maps
- TukTuk to everything or 30min walking
- They keep a monkey + baby inside a small cage, sometimes they seperate both (who knows why) and the baby is calling for it's mother - heartbreaking to see! 
- No English is spoken, only one of the brothers speaks a little English.
- Roomservice just came into our room while we were half asleep, apologized and left (no knocking..)
- All water just stopped working one day, we had to ask, ask again, talk on the phone about the problem to let somebody fix it.

All in all it's a place to sleep, don't expect anything more than that. No tours, kitchen, etc.
