This guesthouse has very recently been refurbished, I had a lovely clean and bright room with a balcony. I really liked the location as you are right in the centre of the old town but set back one street. This means you are not woken up every morning at 5am by the alms giving, but it's 5 mins walk if you want to see it. There is a pharmacy next door and temple slightly further up, the shop opposite is run by a charming old couple, they do laundry and further down is a tour agency that I can recommend. Mount Phousi, National Museum, super Restaurants are minutes away.
