I would recommend my friends to consider staying at Wildebeest Eco Camp

I stayed in a basic one bed tent with shared bathroom and really enjoyed my stay at wildebeest which is very good value for money. The lodge is very safe and clean and a little way out of the city centre which is easily reachable by taxi. Galleria Mall is only 3km away with a good choice of restaurants and shops. The setting is very relaxing and tranquil and it is a good place to unwind before or after a safari or to avoid the hustle of the city centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. Evening buffet is very good value for money with good home cooked food. I will definitely stay here again when I next visit Nairobi and would recommend Wildebeest Eco Lodge to other travellers.

This is my go-to spot in Nairobi. The area is clean and slightly out of town. The staff is friendly and really go out of their way to help and advise.

We stayed here twice, the first time on our arrival from Australia and then after our safaris before our flight back to Dubai. 
The Cottage rooms are quite basic, but have a reasonably comfortable bed, own shower and toilet, towels, linen etc. Two small bottles of water were supplied but more can be purchased from the restaurant. Breakfast is included with toast, tea/coffee and a choice of eggs, pancake, fruit salad. I recommend the pancake with banana over the pale scrambled egg. 
At night, go for the buffet- lots of tasty food, not gourmet but filling. Included soup, bread and main meals with salads and veges. Our first night we chose a few items from the menu over the buffet and the food took over an hour to arrive. There are items such as sandwiches which can be ordered until 4pm. Drinks can be bought from the bar but food isn’t avalable until 7pm for the evening meals. Wifi works quite well in the bar area but is very hit and miss in the Cottage rooms.
There is a pool and a lounge ( can’t comment as we didn’t use), a gift shop and beautiful tropical gardens. 
It’s an oasis before and or after safari, and is close to Wilson and not too far from the International airport.

Cottage rooms are basic but comfortable

great place to stay, great staff( especially Winnie and Juliana), highly professional. The location is convenient for travel, with tents or cottages, good food and great restaurant staff who helped our group throughout. We have stayed previously and will always want to stay whenever we travel through Nairobi. Juliana organised a 4 hour safari in Nairobi national park with Charlie as guide at short notice during a layover that was amazing. Always helpful no matter, the request. Asante sana.

An oasis of calm in Nairobi

What a little gem! Beautiful garden areas and well kept. Great service and fun family style is great for families or travelers who like to socialize with others from around the world. We met people from Belgium, the a Netherlands and New York during our dinner one evening.

Fun family place

We spent 6 nights in the Wildebeest Eco camp in Nairobi. The location of the camp is excellent in Langata, close to Nairobi national park.
We found that it is a wonderful camp, located in a lushy oasis of greenery. The tents are clean, very well equipped and set in a beautiful tropical garden with many clolourful flowers and birds. At night, we could hear lions roaring and hyenas, due to the camp's close proximity to Nairobi national park.
The meals in the restaurant are good.
The staff is very professional and friendly.
For families with children, there is a swimming pool, a playground, and a ping-pong table

Altogether, we highly recommend to stay in Wildebeest Eco camp in Nairobi. It’s a true paradise on earth and a haven of peace

Love this place! I stay any time I am passing through Nairobi. The environment is very relaxing, with peaceful bird watching right from your breakfast table and easy coordination for arrivals at any hour, luggage storage, parking, etc. I have stayed in the dorms, garden tents, and camping - all relaxing and great value. I recommend asking about the family style buffet dinner - food is incredible!

Retreat in the city

A lovely place. It has a real focus on families and backpackers. The buffet dinner is secreted with everyone in the camp at the same time. You all sit down and eat together. This is nice because you get to meet new people, but limits your flexibility.

Would return with the family

Luxurious tents (we stayed in a big hotel room like tent with a bathroom and double bed and a small porch) in beautiful and chill surroundings - a great place to get a breather after spending time in the hectic city. Clean and green! 

Friendly and professional staff. Good breakfast and excellent coffee! 

The bed was a tad too hard for my taste, but that being said beds in general were hard anywhere we stayed in Kenya.

All in all we had a really, really great time staying at Wildebeest and I would definitely come back any time.
