I have been a frequent client at Kipepeo for over a year now. It ia a preferable meeting joint with friends. 
I have consistently noticed a change in their services and food. About two months ago, we ordered for masala Chips and chicken and we were told that the potatoes' supplier had not yet delivered, on asking on whether we could wait for about an hour we were told that they wouldn't be delivered that day. After a short while another client was served and on her plate was chips.
I love Sarah's porridge but it's quality is just something else, there's something totally wrong.
You might be losing your loyal clients. Look into your food and service.

Deteriorating services

Very friendly staff helping us with going to nice places. Its very safe. Quiet rooms. Nice breakfast. Very good priced. We really recommend this place to go to in Nairobi! It is a nice neighbourhood in the busy nairobi.

Very good and friendly place

Located on a busy street in the city centre. the situation is very simplistic. The food is also very simple - typically local. It’s possible to spend the night, but go straight ahead to the next national park - the conditions are better there.

Simple city hotel

We arrived late from the train station and we didn’t have a hotel booked. The taxi driver recommended us this small hotel. The receptionist was very friendly and polite, with a big sweet smile :) 
She offered a room with breakfast included for 40Usd q night. 
The room was not very clean, with cucas and insects walking through the floor and the ceiling and even inside the bathroom.
There is no shampoo nor shower gel only a soap bar. 
They offer two complimentary bottles of water, that is very nice.
The breakfast in the morning is served from 5am until 10am which is also very good. There is good coffee and weetabix and some bread that’s all.
The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
The location of the hotel is apparently one of he worse streets in Nairobi at night (at least this is what the Uber driver told us the next day) with prostitution and drug dealers. In fact our room was facing the back street full of garbage and some men where sleeping on the street around a fire.
Again, the staff is really nice and friendly.
The experience was not the best and in our opinion the price is extremely extremely expensive for the lack of cleanliness and noise that one can hear from the rooms.
We sincerely wish the hotel manager is willing to take measures and improve the standards or we humbly suggest to decrease the room rates.

Dirty room with insects

I have stayed kipepeo hotel located along river road a number of times  2017. The single rooms are clean but some rooms in corners are bit stuffed sometimes. Breakfast is good, there's a bar, hotel attendants are friendly and can get you transport anytime, security is at hotel is ok but dangerous to walk along river road street late in the night.


An average hotel but good services

if you are looking for an affordable hotel kipepeo is one of them located at river road though busy and noisy street but while inside the hotel the noise ain't that much , theirs meals are awesome and avoidable

Affordable

The location of this hotel, down the busy and crowded River Road in downtown Nairobi can be deceiving. Locating the hotel may be a little difficult due to the busy and crowded nature of this street. Once inside the hotel,the environment completely changes. The corridors are clean, rooms are spacious and private. There may be a little noise from outside the room though. The bathrooms needs a little renovation to make them more modern.

Neat hotel downtown

Good hotel located in the heart of the city... quiet environment,all facilities working, hot water was available, WiFi, comfortable bed and great and welcoming staff. Loved my stay here, and I highly recommend travelers to check it out whilst in Nairobi 😊😊😊
