I am currently staying at Tropical Towers and I have no complaints at all about it. When I arrived I was asked if I minded to stay in a 2 Bed apartment until my 1 bed was ready. I arrived early on Saturday morning very tired and was politely greeted with a key to the apartment. I simply went and rested and carried out the check in formality after a sleep. The hotel had arranged a car to pick me from the airport, nice after a long trip and better than airport rates. I am in the one bed now and its great. Spacious well equipped kitchen, new cooker, fridge, microwave and kettle. Lounge area with TV. Wifi all through the building. Comfortable bed clean bathroom and a utility room. Security is good, the pool bar restaurant is a relaxing area. Yaya shopping centre is very close and has places to eat, but go and explore some of the local bars and restaurants that are often hidden in gated compounds for security. I read the post about mosquitos, have some repellent and get some Doom insect killer from the local supermarket. Shut the nets if the window is open. This is AFRICA! Mosquito's are very common and some times of the year they can drive you crazy...
