Reef Hotel

I had the pleasure of staying at the Reef Hotel in Nyali, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel at home. The location is fantastic, right by the beach, with stunning ocean views and a beautifully maintained pool and garden area. It’s the perfect setting whether you want to relax or explore. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and kept spotless by the excellent housekeeping team. One of the highlights of my stay was celebrating my birthday at the hotel. The team went above and beyond to make it unforgettable — from the beautifully decorated bed to the joyful singing and dancing during dinner, topped off with a special cake presentation. Their effort and genuine care made me feel truly celebrated, and it’s a memory I’ll always treasure. Breakfast was another highlight, with plenty of options to suit every taste. I especially enjoyed the traditional Swahili spread alongside fresh fruits, a live omelette station, a variety of pastries, and cereals. It was a perfect way to start each day. The overall ambience is a lovely blend of relaxation, fun, and Kenyan hospitality. I would highly recommend Reef Hotel to anyone visiting Mombasa, and I look forward to returning again.
