Shela Royal House is a gem of a place for a stay in Lamu, with great value. The location is fabulous and staff very attentive and ready to do everything to make your stay a memorable one. The rooms on the upper floors are very well appointed with an exquisite adjoining outside terrace with wonderful seating for relaxation, greenery to temper the sun, and a table for breakfast The rooftop floor has a large communal space with large TV screen and table, with apps like Netflix. There is a fridge in the room for drinks and a shop just two minutes walk away. Staff arranged laundry with no fuss, and arranged a cool drinks delivery for us. Omar, Baya and team are great! I won't ld love to come back when next in Shela.
